摘要
运河漕运体系在中国早期城市的发展 ,都城和行政中心城市体系的形成 ,中国南北城市系统的整合和运河城市类型的产生中发挥着重要作用。运河漕运体系是中国古代城市体系的重要基础 。
In the study of urban history in China‘s ancient times, the far reaching significance of canal and water transportation has not been fully recognized. This paper contributes a systematic analysis to the important role that the canal transportation system plays in the early development of China’s cities, in the establishment of capital and administrative city system, in the integration of the northern and southern city systems as well as in the emergence of canal based cities to demonstrate that the canal transportation system lays the foundation of China's ancient city system and brings its development to a peculiar pattern and principle.
