摘要
英语的synaesthesia(通感)是一种不太被人所注意的修辞格,常见于日常生活及文学作品中。它的运 用能使语言富于形象性,增加感染力。通过对synaesthesia的定义、运用及与移就的差异的分析,以求对synaesthesia 这种英语修辞格有一个大致的了解。
Synaesthesia, a somewhat unnoticed rhetorical device, is frequently used in daily life and literary works. This thesis mainly deals with its definition, its use in daily life and literary works and the difference between synaesthesia and the transferred epithet.
