摘要
本文首先区别了语用模糊和语义模糊的概念,接着具体讨论了区分二者的标准和方法.然后,分别从谈话者和听话者的角度论述了生成及消除语用模糊的手段.最后,简单归纳了语用模糊的语用功能.本文的目的主要是澄清语用模糊和与语义模糊的概念,并引起更多同行对语用模糊的关注.
This paper first makes a distinction between the concepts of Semantic Fuzziness and Pragmatic Ambivalence, then, it poins out what criteria can set them apart. Next, it explores how speakers exert pragmatic ambivalence and how listeners get rid of the ambivalence in language. Finally, this paper summarizes the pragmatic functions of pragmatic ambivalence. The purpose of this paper is to make clear the dividing lines between semantic fuzziness and pragmatic ambivalence and divert more scholars' attention to pragmatic ambivalence.
