发展地球系统科学的背景、问题及对策 被引量:11

The Background,Problems and Development Strategy of Earth System Science

摘要 本文比较了地球系统科学和传统地球科学在研究方法上的区别 ,认为地球系统科学的产生对地球科学各分支的局限性形成挑战 ,指出 :(1)规模适度的研究团队是从事地球系统科学的基础 ;(2 )基于地球各分支学科的系统整合是地球系统科学演进的基本路径 ;(3)生物系统与非生物系统的交互作用是地球系统科学研究的难点。本文还提出了推动地球系统科学研究的相关措施。 The difference in research approaches between Earth System Science( ESS) and conventional Earth Science was compared in this paper.The emergence of ESS has brought about many challenges for the branches of conventional Earth Science.The following characteristics of ESSstudies are proposed:( 1 ) organizing a team of 1 5— 2 0 researchers with different academic backgrounds is the basis to study ESS; ( 2 ) the system integration of the branches of Earth Science is the basic path of ESS development;and( 3) the interaction between life system and non- life system is the focus of ESS studies.Suggestions about the development of ESS are proposed as well.
