The limitationof 10Mbps shared Ethernet is analyzed and three upgrade projects about the 10Mbps shared Ethernet which based on starlike topology structureare introduced in this paper. These upgrade projects are from 10Mbps shared to 10Mbps switching; from 10Mbps sharedto 100Mbps shared and from 10Mbps shared to 100Mbps switching.
