摘要
超低码率视频压缩边界上出现的明显的不连续灰度即像虚块,影响了视频序列的压缩上界,限制了它的应用范围.为减轻或消除像虚块的影响,本文针对运动视频图像的特点,在经典的去块滤波算法基础上,对编码器结构和滤波特性加以改进.算法中使用了重叠运动补偿和方向滤波联合处理的方法,操作简捷,移植性好.理论分析和试验仿真都证明了本文方法能够获得比标准算法更好的重建结果.
When videos are compressed at very low bit-rates, the discontinuities in grey scale between block boundaries, known as blocking artifacts, will affect the upper bound of compression ratio and limit the scope of applications. In order to alleviate or rid of the effect of artifacts, the conventional deblocking algorithm is further developed in coding structure and filter characteristics according to features of moving video pictures. Our algorithm has made the joint uses of overlapped motion compensation and directional filtering techniques,with the advantages of simple operation and good portability. Theoretical analysis and experimental simulations all prove better reconstruction results with our method compared with the standard one.
