摘要
当代翻译研究范式的“文化转向”要求把政治、权力和意识形态等影响翻译活动的外部因素纳入研究轨道。兴起于 2 0世纪 80年代的后殖民理论以其鲜明的政治批判色彩契合了翻译研究的文化范式。本文拟将揭示后殖民批判理论投射到翻译研究上的影响及其对传统翻译的颠覆 ,并指出新的视角将大大有裨于正在形成的翻译学。
The'cultural turn'of the contemporary translation studies paradigm necessitates taking into account such external factors as politics,power and ideology,which in one way or another influence translation activities.With its sharp political criticism,the post-colonialism theory,cropping up in mid-1980s,coincides with the cultural paradigm of translation studies.This essay seeks to discover the great influences the post-colonialism theory exerts upon translation studies and its subversion of the traditional translation views and to point out that the new perspective will greatly benefit the forming translatology.
