摘要
如何引导全国高校分类发展 ,解决多样化的社会需求与单一化的发展目标的矛盾 ,是当前中国高等教育事业发展中急待解决的难题 ,也是一项复杂而困难的工作。类型划分 ,是高校定位及确定发展方向的前提。本文通过对联合国教科文组织《1997国际教育标准分类法》等三种分类标准的介绍 ,对中国不同类型高校 ,尤其是处在学术性研究型大学和高职高专学校之间的中间类型高校提出了发展方向的建议。
How to classify and lead higher education institutions develop according to their different types, how to break the contradiction between diversified social demands and the single development goal of institutions is a difficult but urgent problem in China's higher education at present. This paper examines three different criteria for classification and gives suggestion to China's different kinds of university on developing, especially the middle type which between Research University and Professional Institute.
