摘要
在语篇语言学关于衔接和连贯理论的指导下,本文对比分析了不同学生就同一篇文章的译文,指出了学生在汉译英中容易出现的问题。分析表明:在英语和汉语水平大致相当的情况下,合理使用各种衔接手段能有效地提高汉译英译文的质量。
Applying the theories of discourse analysis, especially those of cohesion and coherence,this author compared different versions of ChineseEnglish translation, and pointed out the problems that usually occur among learners of translation. The comparison showes that, for learners at the same proficiency level, using cohesive ties properly helps them improve ChineseEnglish translation.
