摘要
美育在中国和西方都有着悠久的历史,但在我国很长时间内未引起足够的重视。1999年,党中央、国务院颁布了《中共中央国务院关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》,强调了素质教育是为人的教育,它潜在于智育、德育、美育、体育以及各种日常的活动,从而确定了美育作为独立一育的社会地位,它在推进素质教育中具有不可替代的重要作用。而这,正是由美育本身的特点所决定的。
Aes thetic e ducation has a long history in the western world as well as in China.However,i t hasn't been paid much attention to in our country for quite a long period.In 1999,the Party Central Committee and the State Council issued the Decision of Deepening Educational Reform and Promoting Quality Education.In the decision it is emphasized that quality education is the kind of education for people exi sting in intellectual education,moral education,aesthetic edu-cation,physica l education and different kinds of daily activities.Thus the social status of aesthetic education as an independent education is established.It plays a non-fungible role during the pro-motion of quality education,which is decided by the characteristics of aesthetic education itself.
