摘要
Nd:LMA是新型的有前途的可调谐激光晶体。可用于脉冲与连续输出的激光器,广泛应用于激光加工、激光医疗等领域。本文报导Nd:LMA晶体生长工艺研究结果。获得了φ26×180mm c轴、27×13×160mmα轴晶体毛坯,加工出φ5~7×60~110mm激光棒多根,最高斜率效率≥4.5%,干涉条纹达0.5条/25mm。
Nd: LMA(Nd: LaMgAl_(11)O_(18))is a new type laser crystal material. It has stable physical and chemical properties and only has lightly flourescence quenching. Its melt-point is lower than YAG. The dirtribution coefficient of Nd^(3+) in LMA host ts lower than YAG. The distribution coefficient of Nd^(3+) in LMA host is about 1, so it is easy to obtain the higher Nd^(3+) concentration LMA crystal boule .Nd^(3+): LMA operate in wavelength 1. 054μm and 1. 083μm. By means of doping special ionis, it can become wavelength-tunable laser crystal.We have studied the growth method of Nd: LMA crystal and obtained a c-abxis boule with the size of (26×180mm) and an α-axis boule with the size of 27×13×160mm. From those boule, we obtained several laser rods with size φ5~7×60~110mm. The highest slope efficiency is about 4.5 percent and the interference fringe is 0.5/25mm.
