摘要
本文结合作者多年来在植物生理学专业英语教学的实践,探讨了通过改进课堂教学模式的设计,改变"满堂灌"式的单向教学模式,建立学生参与的"教———学"良性互动的课堂教学模式。将课堂教学分成多个环节,其中多数环节由学生参与,使学生思绪专注于教学内容,并能做到即时了解学生的疑问难点,即时解答解释,教师的课堂工作强度明显减少,而其主导作用更加突出,同时活跃了课堂气氛,使课堂兼备引力和压力,提高了教学效率,改善了教学效果。
Based on the years practice in the teaching of English for Plant Physiology, the authors have made an approach to change the uni-directional 'forced-feeding' mode of teaching in classroom and set up a teaching program in classroom, which contains a number of sections involving students' participation. Such program enables a sound interaction between the teacher and the students. By practicing this program during classroom, the students are attracted and forced to be concentrated on the text being taught, and because of the participation of the students, the working intensity of the teacher in classroom is markedly reduced, while teaching efficiency and result are improved. However, this program highlights teacher's guiding role in classroom and raises a higher requirement to the teacher, as he or she must have a better skill in handling questions from the students.
