摘要
本文对美国《科学引文索引》(SCI)的评价功能和机理、评价的可行性与局限性作了较为全面的分析 ,对美国SCI在我国科学评价中的应用进行了比较深入的讨论 ,并提出了自己的一些建议 ,以帮助人们了解和正确认识SCI,从而对SCI的科学评价作用进行合理的定位 ,促进我国科学评价事业的健康发展。
This article analyzes the evaluation functions and mechanism, the feasibility and limitation of SCI evaluation. The authors present thorough discussion about the application of SCI in the Chinese science evaluation and give some suggestions in order to help people understand and acquaint SCI, to orient the science evaluation functions of SCI in reason and thus to facilitate the healthy development of Chinese science evaluation cause.
