摘要
本文首先运用内容分析的方法,对过去10年里报刊上有关知识分子问题的文章和报道进行了系统的分类统计,发现它们的重点发生了明显的变化,开始专注于政治地位问题,后又转向社会地位问题,最后3年集中在科技与生产相结合的问题上,形成了前后相继的三个阶段。然后,作者运用社会角色的理论分析了上述每个阶段中科技人员的社会地位和社会角色的转变问题,以及造成这些变化的原因和阻碍转变的各种因素。
This thesis tries to explore the changing role of Chinese scientists and technologists from 1978 to 1988. Author choose Guang Ming Daily as research material, use content analysis to have reports and articles classfied counter and analysed. Result is as the following:
1. The activities of scientists and technologists and the social role that scientists and technologists play is still depended to a large extent on the goverment policy, but gradually from policy control to a certain degree 'market' control.
2. The social role of scientists and technologists is now changing from other-given role to self-given role, from expression role to utility role, from
dependency to autonomy.
3 . The social conditions which restrict the enchance of social status and the change of social role of scientists and technologists are not only social values, social structure is coming more and more important. Meanwhile, scientists and technologists must change their own quality as well.
