摘要
本文在简要地回顾了30多年来湍流拟序结构研究的进展之后,评述了目前拟序结构研究的动态。笔者强调准确的湍流场数据库建立的重要性,它是定量描述和研究拟序结构的基础。笔者评述了关于拟序结构目前流行的几种观点和方法,认为应当把研究拟序结构的动力学作为我们研究的目标。笔者深信准确掌握拟序结构的动力学规律,对于预测和控制湍流将有极大的推动。
In this paper the trends in the study on the coherent structure of turbulent shear flows are discussed with a brief review of the achievements in this area during the last thirty years. It is shown that the accurate database of turbulent fluctuations plays a significant role in the quantitative investigation of the structure patterns. It is emphasized that the study on the dynamics of the coherent structures is the main target today. Some comments are made on the present views of the dynamics, e.g., flow instability, vortex dynamics and nonlinear dynamical systems etc. It is believed that the prediction and control of turbulent shear flows will be achieved when the dynamics of the coherent structures is well understood.
