摘要
为解决舰船艉轴机械密封漏泄量大、寿命短、维修工作繁重的难题,研制了新型自润滑密封材料。新型材料以聚对羟基苯甲酸酯为基材,润滑组元为聚四氟乙烯,辅助组元为石墨、铜粉等。试验结果表明,新型共混材料保持了各个组元的原有优点,而且在性能上互相补充,克服了PTFE的易蠕变性和聚对羟基苯甲酸酯的脆性。经台架试验证明,用新型材料制成的静环具有优异的性能。
A new type of selflubricating material for sealing was developed to solve the problems of stern shaft seal as serious leakage, short life and difficult repairing. The new material was consisted of poly(phenylester) as basic constituent, PTFE as lubricating constituent, and graphite and bronze powder as auxiliary constituent. The experimental results showed that the new blending material had the original advantages of each components, and the easy creep properties of PTFE and the brittleness of poly(phenylester) were overcome for their synergetic effect. Mechanical tests showed that the fixed ring made of the new material had excellent properties.
