Progress in Phenotypic Plasticity of Human Amnion-Derived Cells

摘要 人羊膜上皮细胞(hAEC)和羊膜间充质细胞(hAMC)具有干细胞表型特征,具有向三个胚层分化的潜能,作为再生医学的细胞资源颇受关注。近年来的研究表明,hAEC和hAMC具有多谱系分化潜能,在特定条件下可向神经细胞、肝细胞、心肌细胞、胰腺β细胞、成骨及软骨细胞等分化,并显示出对实验性神经损伤、心肌梗死、糖尿病的治疗效应。重点就hAEC和hAMC的表型特征及其表型可塑性的研究进展作一综述。 Amniotic epithelial cells(hAECs) and amniotic mesenchymal cells(hAMCs) derived from humam amniotic mambrane express stem cell markers and have the ability to differentiate toward all three germ layers.Therefore,human amniotic membrane cells draw great interest as a source of for regenerative medicine.Recent reports indicate that hAECs or hAMCs possess the potential of multilineage differentiation,and can differentiate into 'neuron-like' cells, 'hepatocyte-like' cells, 'cardiomyocyte-like' cells,pancreatic beta-cells,osteoblasts,chondrocytes and so on in vitro condition.The therapy-based expremental studies show that hAECs and hAMCs have the protective effects on neurological disorders,liver disease,myocardial infarction and diabetes mellitus.Recent advances in phenotypic characteristic and phenotypic plasticity of human amnion-derived cells were reviewed.
