摘要
文中提出了面向无线视频应用的低带宽视频压缩方案及算法,该方案主要采用了整数小波变换的压缩算法,块匹配运动估计,重叠块运动补偿,小波系数标量量化,自适应算术编码,变长编码。为实现低比特率下的高效率视频压缩,首先建立由量化后的小波系数构成的小波子带,对小波子带结构中的冗余进行压缩。
This paper puts forward a video compression scheme and algorithm at low bitrate for wireless video applications. The scheme mainly employs the algorithm based on Integer Discrete Wavelet Transform,Blockbased Motion Estimation,Overlapped Block Motion Compensation,Scalar Quantization of wavelet coefficients,Adaptive Arithmetic Coding and Variable Length Coding. In order to accomplish video compression with high performance,the wavelet subband is built with quantified coefficients,then redundancy in the wavelet subband will be compressed.
