Synthesis of benzoxazolyl-substituted pyridine under microwave irradiation

摘要 Under the microwave irradiattion,two benzoxazolyl-substituted pyridines were synthesized by condensation of oaminophenol and carboxylic acid.The optimum reaction conditions were:PPA as a catalyst,microwave power 500 W,and microwave irradiation time 4 min.The reaction was 60 times faster under microwave irradiation and the yield was higher than conventional heating.
