摘要
十二生肖是中国民间普遍流行的记生年和记岁、排辈分的符号体系,两千年来早已蔚为大观,妇孺皆知.然而,生肖语言作为一种源远流长的隐喻编码系统,也还有它鲜为人知的一面.本文从文化的角度?出发,并结合对外汉语中高级阶段文化教学,论述了中国生肖语言独特的文化隐喻,向读者展示一幅更为生动的'生肖大观图'.
The cycle of 12 years named after animals is a widely popular system used to record the birth year, age and rank the position in family among the Chinese folks. It is well known to all as well as presents splendid sight for two thousand years. However, as a continuously metaphor coding system , the Chinese language of the Twelve Animals which symbolize the year in which one is born has its unknown aspect. Based on the cultural perspective , combining culture teaching at the middle or high stage of the Chinese language teaching to foreigners, the essay attempts to give an account of the unique cultural metaphor of the Chinese language of the Twelve Animals and to display a more vivid picture of them to readers.
