摘要
本文把近些年来外语教学中的文化问题归纳为三种思潮:1)在外语教学中渗透文化的思想;2)通过学习文化来学习语言的思想;3)学习文化的思想.在简要回顾前两种思想之后,本文重点讨论学习文化(Culture of learning)的思想.文章提出,某一群体学习者对外语学习的目的、目标、方式、过程和结果的认识以及在这些认识的指导下采取的学习行为就是该群体学习者的学习文化.中国外语学习者的学习文化对外语学习有着深远和广泛的影响.
Studies on culture in relation to foreign language teaching can be summarized in three directions: 1) incorporating culture into language teaching; 2) learning language through learning culture; 3) culture of learning. This paper elaborates on the third direction, i.e. how language learners' culture of learning navigates them about the aims, objectives, methods, processes and products of foreign language learning.
