摘要
轴承密封是影响牙轮钻头寿命的重要因素之一.本文提出了一种新型密封——流体动力密封,并进行了室内试验.试验结果表明,这种新型密封圈能显著降低摩擦扭矩,从而延长密封寿命,提高可靠性.这种密封还能满足高速运转的牙轮钻头的需要,在转速达600r/min,甚至800r/min时,连续运行,工作寿命可超过100h:
The sealing of bearings on a rock bit is one of the most important factors affecting rock bit life. This paper presents a new type of seal ring for rock bits — hydro-dynamical lubrication. Laboratory experiments showed that the new seal ring is much better than O-ring. It can greatly reduce the frictional moment, frictional heat, and abrasive wear at the sealing interface. It can, therefore, prolong the sealing life and improve the reliability. Especially, the new seal is suitable for high speed operation. It can work continuously under the rates of 600 or 800 rpm. Its worklife is over 100 hour.
