摘要
如何认识现代社会中大学与政府的关系,如何在大学的管理、运营过程中调整大学与政府的关系,是许多国家高等教育实践和理论研究经常面对的重要课题。在大学与政府间保持一种必要的张力,是保持两者关系的动态平衡,亦是构建现代大学与政府关系的基本原则。战后日本国立大学与政府在一些重要问题上的冲突与调和所反映出来的两者关系的变化,也许是说明大学与政府间张力关系的一个例证。
How to understand the relation between university and government in modern university? How do we adjust the relation between university and government in the process of administration of university? There are important themes, which are often faced by administrators and researchers of university in many countries. Keeping a necessary tension between university and government is a dynamic balance in keeping the relation between the two sides as well as a principle of establishing the relation between modern university and government. It may be an example to explain the tension between university and government that change of the relation between the National University of Japan and the government have been reflected in the conflict and conciliation about some important issues between universities and the government after World War II.
