摘要
采用基于正交小波的多尺度分解,提取出不同空间分辨率和不同方向的子图像,其低频逼近分量可用来确定海天线和目标潜在区,水平和垂直方向的高频细节分量则体现了目标所在的区域信息;根据海面目标总是出现在海天线附近的特点,排除虚警点而分离出真正的目标。实验结果表明该方法能检测出低信噪比复杂海面背景中的舰船红外小目标。
A method for small IR target detection in complex background is proposed in this paper. Based on the multi-resolution decomposition of Orthogonal Wavelet Transform (OWT),the important information of the target or background can be obtained, and the noise and clutter can be suppressed by selection of frequency. To detect the horizontal edge of the large scale approximate, the sea-sky-line can be located while the target potential area can be decided. The fusion algorithm is used to the horizontal and vertical directional details and an adaptive threshold is calculated to binary the image. By searching the target potential area and assigning threshold, the false alarm points are discarded and then the target can be segmented. It is proved experimentally that this algorithm is efficient to detect small IR target in a sea surface background.
