摘要
本文总结了作者十多年ASIC正向设计实践的经验。指出了ASIC正向设计中的三个步骤(即系统设计、功能划分和逻辑设计),各步的难点及解决方法。特别提出,把较小规模的通用或专用电路搭成的电路板集成为一个大规模电路时,是一个再创作的过程,往往并不一定仅仅是简单的规模上的提高。 ASIC正向设计的任务,已越来越多地摆在我们面前。自觉地掌握ASIC正向设计的科学程序,是少走弯路,提高设计成功率的保证。我们根据十多年来成功研制手表专用电路,一位机专用电路(I^2L版),光栅数显专用电路,曝光机专用电路,水质测量仪专用电路,流量计专用电路等六个系列电路的实践,总结出一些经验。
A summary of the author's 10-odd years of practice and experience in the top- down design of ASICs is given. Three steps (namely, system design, function classification and logic design) involved in the top-down design of ASICs, the difficulties involved in each step and their solutions are described. Emphasis is given that it is not only a mere increase in integration scale, but rather a recreation process when a breadboard constructed with small scale general- and special-purpose circuits is to be VLSI-integrated.
