摘要 如果把标准TCP直接应用于 3种无线网络模型 (蜂窝网络、Adhoc网络和卫星网络 ) ,由于其不能够区分丢包的原因 ,可能会错误地启动拥塞控制 ,导致性能下降 分析了 3种无线网络模型中影响TCP性能的因素 ,指出为减轻这些因素造成的负面影响所必须增加的一些额外技术 ,总结了提高无线网络TCP性能的一些方法并对这些方法进行了比较和分类 。 Because the standard TCP can not distinguish the nature of packet loss, TCP performance over three kinds wireless networks (cellular network, ad hoc network and satellite network) will be deteriorated very much by invoking congestion control incorrectly if standard TCP is directly applied on the wireless networks. Factors that affect TCP performance of the three kinds wireless networks are analyzed, and additional technologies that should be added to the standard TCP to alleviate negative influences are pointed out. Some methods of improving TCP performance of wireless network are discussed, and comparison and classification are carried out. Research directions of TCP performance over wireless network are also discussed.
