CNPC (China National Petroleum Corp.)started to construct Shanxi coalbed methane pipeline of west-east gas transmission project on June 6th.It is the first coalbed methanol pipeline in China.After the completion,richcoalbed methane in Qinshui,Shanxi provincewill constantly flow into the pipeline,getblended with natural gas from the westernregion and then be taken to eastern China.The pipeline has a total length of 35 km.
