2018年12月26日,潍坊高铁北站正式启用,当天一早,不少潍坊市民从四面八方赶来一睹北站风采。济青高铁西起济南东站,东至青岛市红岛站,线路全长307.9公里,设济南东、章丘北、邹平、淄博北、临淄北、青州市北、潍坊北、高密北、胶州北、青岛机场、红岛11座车站。通车后,潍坊与济南、青岛形成半小时生活圈。潍坊北站项目总建筑面积6.6万平方米.
Weifangbei Railway station was officially put into use on December 26,2018.Many citizens of Weifang came to witness the exciting moment.Unable to stand on the platform,they stood on the platform bridge leading to the waiting room on the second floor and watched Fuxing bullet train G9218 pulling in Weifangbei Railway Station for the first time.Some other citizens who had bought tickets to G9218 beforehand were fortunate enough to become the first batch of passengers Weifangbei Railway Station had sent off and experienced in person the high speed of Jinan-Qingdao high-speed railway.
