The Construction of a Relatively Well-Formed Practice Teaching System

摘要 构建相对完整的实践教学体系,把实践教学贯穿到本科阶段的整个学习过程,对培养目标的实现具有重要作用。佛山电大在开放教育试点本科计算机科学与技术专业教学实施过程中坚持实践教学与理论教学并重,三年不断线,三个层次相呼应,三大措施为保障”,逐步形成了以课程实验、课程设计与专业实习为基础,集中实践、毕业设计为重点的相对完整的实践教学体系,对学生执业能力的培养和提升起到了积极作用。 The objective of constructing a relatively well-formed practice teaching system is to integrate practice teach-ing into the learning process in undergraduate level studies operating in the distance mode and to realize the various goals of open and distance education.The introduction of practice teaching into theory classes has been tested out in the undergraduate computer science program in Foshan Radio and Television University.In this pilot scheme,students are at the center and the various forms of practice are closely interrelated.Students participate in almost all the practice sessions and they are under stringent quality assurance supervision.The three years of continuous practice are introduced in three levels built upon one another.In addition,three measures are used to ensure the quality of practice teach-ing.In this relatively well-formed teaching system,practice teaching is the foundation,with curriculum design used to strengthen its role.The core of this system is the final-year project.The integration of practice into the computer science program is divided into three levels.At each level,learning activities with different levels of difficulty are introduced.The advantages are:computer science gradu-ates are more likely to successfully carry out their tasks in future work;graduates can choose whether to pursue further studies or enter the job market;graduates can achieve all-round development which is the goal of open education;graduates can keep up with the demands of the job market and the latest developments in computer science;and finally,this model is compatible with the laws governing the teaching of computer science.
