摘要
自70年代晚期,我国的许多大学相继开设ESP(专门用途英语)课程。1999年版的《大学英语教学大纲》更提出了培养ESP学生综合技能的要求。本文以同济大学为调查对象,主要通过问卷和访谈的形式来了解非语言类专业的ESP教学现状,找出现存的问题,并试图挖掘问题产生的根源以及提出相应的建议。
In China, ESP courses have been offered in many universities since the late 1970s and are required in the College English Syllabus. To explore the ESP orientation, a case study is conducted in Tongji University. The existing problems are elaborated on, and the causes of as well as the solutions to the problems are reflected upon.
