采用热压工艺制备的B4 C复相陶瓷的断裂韧性达到 12 .88MPa·m1 2 。加入的第二相颗粒SiC、TiC和B4 C基体之间热膨胀系数不匹配。试样冷却后 ,在SiC、TiC颗粒周围的基体内产生的残余应力导致裂纹偏转使材料的韧性得到提高。加入的α -Si3N4 转变为柱状的 β -Si3N4 ,有助于B4
The fracture toughness of B 4C multiphase ceramics prepared by hot-pressed methods at 1800℃ reached 12.88 MPa·m 1/2 .The thermal expansion coefficients of SiC and TiC do not match with B 4C matrix'.The improvement of the composite toughness resulted from the multitoughening of both the crack deflection associated with the incorporation of SiC and TiC particulates and rodlike β-Si 3N 4 produced by α-Si 3N 4.
