摘要
自动产生模具型腔加工的工艺计划及数控加工指令对提高模具型腔的加工效率具有重要意义。研究了模具型腔工艺规划中的刀具选择问题,提出了模具型腔粗加工、半精加工、精加工刀具选择的原则与方法,并构造了相应的实现算法;重点研究了粗加工中刀具的组合优化问题,并建立了数学模型;给出了计算机辅助刀具选择系统的体系架构,基于所提方法在UG/OPENAPI环境下进行了初步编程实现;以一个包含岛及自由曲面的模具型腔零件的刀具选择为例,说明系统及算法的可行性。
The tool selection issue in process planning is addressed, which is important for CAD/CAM integration. The guidelines and methods for tool selections in cavity roughing, semi-finishing and finishing are proposed, and corresponding algorithms are developed accordingly. Moreover, the tool combination optimization in cavity roughing is focused, and a mathematical model for it is presented. Based on the system architecture for computer aided tool selection (CATS), all proposed methodology and algorithms are implemented under UG/OPEN API context. A tool selection example for a practical cavity with island and sculptured surfaces is given to show the feasibility of system.
