丰美的大草原,陶冶了哈萨克人民淳朴、豪放的性格;逐水草而迁徙的生活方式赋予了哈萨克民族诗人的气质与才华。千百年来流传于哈萨克人民中间的“阿肯弹唱”,这种民间文学、艺术形式,一直成为哈萨克人民生活的重要组成部分。尤其是改革开放以来,这一传统文化得到了蓬勃的发展。
