摘要
在跨文化交际中,即使话语本身没有语法错误,但由于对谈话对象的文化背景知识缺乏了解,很可能会产生语用失误,从而造成误解,甚至导致交际的完全中断.为了更好地了解大学生的英语语用能力状况,及语用能力是否随着语言知识的积累而提高,本文对所在学校的100名大学生进行了一次语用能力问卷调查,并分析了问卷结果及出现语用失误的原因,提出了避免语用失误的建议.
In cross-cultural communication,some utterances,whch may be free of grammatical errors,are likely to cause pragmatic failures and bring about misunderstanding or even a complete breakdown for lack of cultural knowledge of interlocutors.In order to know more about college students` pragmatic competence of English,and whether pragmatic competence increases with the accumulation of linguistic knowledge,a questionnaire on pragmatic competence was conducted among a hundred students,the result and causes of failure were analyzed and some suggestions have been put forward.
