A new approach on sterilization by nanometer TiO 2 (n TiO 2)catalysis plasma discharge is brought up in this paper. The basic knowledge and the apparatus of this approach are also introduced. Experiments on elimination of bacillus demonstrate the strong sterilization ability of this technology. It has been found that within 1 minute's processing of n TiO 2 catalysis under plasma discharge, an amounts of 10 5 bacillus can be completely eliminated.
