To get the jump on striving for an economical powerhouse and ecologically-friendly city, the Taiyuan Municipal CPC Committee had laid out a master plan for building a culturally-strong city: to regard the raising of cultural taste and the enhancement of cultural ramifications as benchmarks for improving the functions of a modern metropolis and finally raising its overall competitiveness. Taiyuan is also trying a wide range of measures to boost its cultural industry through the concrete execution of each project.
