Salicylic acid as a drug carrying agent was intercalated into microporous poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) and PCL resin particles using supercritical CO 2 as solvent. The drug releasing currves in 95% ethanol solution for open-hole PCL and close-hole PCL particles have been obtained and the releasing half-life(t 1/2) for both systems were calculated to be 35 h and 57 h, respectively. The latter appears more preferable.
