摘要
基质金属蛋白酶(matrix metalloproteinases, MMPs)是一组锌离子和钙离子依赖性的蛋白水解酶,通过降解细胞外基质(extracellular matrix, ECM)、引发炎症反应和调控相关因子,参与动脉粥样硬化的全过程。本文就相关基质金属蛋白酶与动脉粥样硬化的相关性研究进展作一综述。
Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), a group of zinc ion dependent proteolytic enzymes, participate in the whole process of atherosclerosis by degrading extracellular matrix (ECM), triggering inflammatory response and regulating related factors. In this paper, the effect of matrix metalloproteinases on atherosclerosis was reviewed.
