摘要 Sick sinus syndrome (SSS) is a generalized abnormality of cardiac impulse formation. Patients with SSS occasionally need temporary pacing during general anesthesia. The most common issue arising in the perioperative period is electromagnetic interference with device function. We report a case of a 66-year-old man who required temporary cardiac pacing during maxillary cyst extirpation using electrocautery.
