At the time of the declining of the Confucian Culture in central China, an area in Hosi appeared an abnormal situation where the Confucian Culture raised its flag high and became flourished. There not only survived the Confucian Culture having grown in the two HAN Dynasties, but also developed tremendously. Especially after the time of unification of northern part by the Northern WEI Dynasty, the Confucian Culture in Hosi contributed greatly to the Northern WEI Dynasty. The rulers of the Northern WEI Dynasty made use of the scholars in Hosi and the Confucian Culture to stimulate the ritual formulas and perfect official system and the laws.
