This steel shows a superior combination of specific ultimate tensile strength and impact toughness to other ultrastrong steels and has successfully arrested a real steel-cored bullet shot. These are attributed to the densely textured δ-ferrite lamellas that can deflect the propagating cracks until they are trapped and enclosed besides austenite-to-martensite transformation crack closure, leading to more energy consumed before failure. These results suggest a new pathway for toughening ultrastrong lightweight steels.展开更多

This kind of ciphers is called ARX ciphers. For ARX ciphers, impossible differential cryptanalysis and zero-correlation linear cryptanalysis are among the most powerful attacks, and the key problems for these two attacks are discovering more and longer impossible differentials(IDs) and zero-correlation linear hulls(ZCLHs). However, finding new IDs and ZCLHs for ARX ciphers has been a manual work for a long time, which has been an obstacle in improving these two attacks. This paper proposes an automatic search method to improve the efficiency of finding new IDs and ZCLHs for ARX ciphers. In order to prove the efficiency of this new tool, we take HIGHT, LEA, SPECK three typical ARX algorithms as examples to explore their longer and new impossible differentials and zero-correlation linear hulls. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first application of automatic search method for ARX ciphers on finding new IDs and ZCLHs. For HIGHT, we find more 17 round IDs and multiple 17 round ZCLHs. This is the first discovery of 17 round ZCLHs for HIGHT. For LEA, we find extra four 10 round IDs and several 9 round ZCLHs. In the specification of LEA, the designers just identified three 10 round IDs and one 7round ZCLH. For SPECK, we find thousands of 6 round IDs and forty-four 6 round ZCLHs. Neither IDs nor ZCLHs of SPECK has been proposed before. The successful application of our new tool shows great potential in improving the impossible differential cryptanalysis and zero-correlation linear cryptanalysis on ARX ciphers..展开更多

In this article, we model the matter field around intermediatemass binary black holes by means of an axion-like scalar field and investigate their joint evolution. In detail, we consider equal mass binary black holes surrounded by a shell of axion-like scalar field both in spherically symmetric and non-spherically symmetric cases, and with different strengths of the scalar field. Our result shows that the environmental scalar field could essentially modify the dynamics. Firstly,in the spherically symmetric case, with increase of the scalar field strength, the number of circular orbits for the binary black hole is reduced. This means that the scalar field could significantly accelerate the merger process. Secondly, once the scalar field strength exceeds a certain critical value, the scalar field could collapse into a third black hole with its mass being larger than that of the binary. Consequently, the new black hole that collapses from the environmental scalar field could accrete the binary promptly and the binary collides head-on with each other. In this process, there is almost no quadrupole signal produced, and, consequently, the gravitational wave is greatly suppressed. Thirdly, when the scalar field strength is relatively smaller than the critical value, the black hole orbit could develop eccentricity through accretion of the scalar field. Fourthly, during the initial stage of the inspiral, the gravitational attractive force from the axion-like scalar field could induce a sudden turn in the binary orbits, hence resulting in a transient wiggle in the gravitational waveform. Finally, in the non-spherical case, the scalar field could gravitationally attract the binary moving toward the center of mass for the scalar field and slow down the merger process.展开更多

However, the traditional approach of relying on the subjective determination of drilling masters based on experience formulas is slow and not suitable for rapid drilling. In this paper, we propose a drilling condition classification method based on a neural network model. The model uses an improved Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU) combined with an attention mechanism to accurately classify seven common drilling conditions simultaneously, achieving an average accuracy of 91.63%. The model also demonstrates excellent generalization ability, real-time performance, and accuracy, making it suitable for actual production. Additionally, the model has excellent expandability, which enhances its potential for further application.展开更多

文摘Power-conversion-efficiencies(PCEs)of organic solar cells(OSCs)in laboratory, normally processed by spin-coating technology with toxic halogenated solvents, have reached over 19%.However,there is usually a marked PCE drop when the bladecoating and/or green-solvents toward large-scale printing are used instead, which hampers the practical development of OSCs.Here,a new series of N-alkyl-tailored small molecule acceptors named YR-SeNF with a same molecular main backbone are developed by combining selenium-fused central-core and naphthalene-fused endgroup. Thanks to the N-alkyl engineering,NIR-absorbing YR-SeNF series show different crystallinity, packing patterns, and miscibility with polymeric donor. The studies exhibit that the molecular packing, crystallinity, and vertical distribution of active layer morphologies are well optimized by introducing newly designed guest acceptor associated with tailored N-alkyl chains, providing the improved charge transfer dynamics and stability for the PM6:L8-BO:YRSeNF-based OSCs.As a result,a record-high PCE approaching 19%is achieved in the blade-coating OSCs fabricated from a greensolvent o-xylene with high-boiling point.Notably, ternary OSCs offer robust operating stability under maximum-power-point tracking and well-keep>80%of the initial PCEs for even over 400 h.Our alkyl-tailored guest acceptor strategy provides a unique approach to develop green-solvent and blade-coating processed high-efficiency and operating stable OSCs,which paves a way for industrial development.

文摘Bimolecular interactions play crucial roles in lignin pyrolysis. The tautomerization of key intermediates has a significant impact on the formation of stable products, whereas bimolecular tautomerization has been rarely clarified. In the present work, the bimolecular tautomerization mechanism induced by both concerted and radical interactions was proposed and carefully confirmed.A characteristicβ-O-4 lignin dimer,2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol(α-OH-PPE),was used as the model compound to reveal two representative keto-phenol and enol-keto tautomerism mechanisms, based on theoretical calculations combined with pyrolysis experiments. The results indicate that the unimolecular tautomerism as the rate-determining step limits product generation, due to fairly high energy barriers. While the free hydroxy compounds and radicals derived from initial pyrolysis can further initiate bimolecular tautomerism reactions through the one-step concerted hydroxyl-assisted hydrogen transfer(hydroxylAHT)and two-step radical hydrogen abstraction interactions, respectively.By alleviating and even avoiding the large ring tension of tautomerism, the unstable tautomers(2,4-cyclohexadienone and1-hydroxy styrene)can be rapidly tautomerized into stable phenol and acetophenone with the help of intermolecular interaction.Benefitting from the significant advantage of retro-ene fragmentation in breaking theβ-O-4 bond to form tautomers,a large amount of stable phenolic and ketone products can be generated following bimolecular tautomerization in the pyrolysis ofβ-O-4 linked lignin.

文摘The identification and recording of drilling conditions are crucial for ensuring drilling safety and efficiency. Additionally, the model has excellent expandability, which enhances its potential for further application.

文摘As a completely independent method, the measurement of time delay of strongly lensed quasars(TDSL)are crucial to resolve the Hubble tension.Extensive monitoring is required but so far limited to a small sample of strongly lensed quasars.Together with several partner institutes,Beijing Normal University is constructing a 1.93 m reflector telescope at the Muztagh-Ata site in west China, which has the world class observing conditions with median seeing of 082 and median sky brightness of 21.74 mag arcsec-2 in V-band during the dark time. The telescope will be equipped with both a three-channel imager/photometer which covers 3500–11,000?wavelength band, and a low-medium resolution(λ/δλ=500/2000/7500)spectrograph.In this paper,we investigate the capability of the Muztagh-Ata 1.93 m telescope in measuring time delays of strongly lensed quasars. We generate mock strongly lensed quasar systems and light curves with microlensing effects based on five known strongly lensed quasars,i.e.,RX J1131-1231,HE 0435-1223,PG 1115+080,WFI 2033-4723 and SDSS 1206+4332.In particular,RX J1131-1231 is generated based on the lens modeling results of Suyu et al.Due to the lack of enough information, the other four systems are calculated by a simple analytical approximation.According to simulations, for RX J1131-like systems(wide variation in time delay between images)the TDSL measurement can be achieved with the precision aboutΔt=0.5 day with four seasons campaign length and 1 day cadence. This accuracy is comparable to the up-coming TDCOSMO project. And it would be better when the campaign length keeps longer and with high cadence. As a result, the capability of the Muztagh-Ata 1.93 m telescope allows it to join the network of TDSL observatories. It will enrich the database for strongly lensed quasar observations and make more precise measurements of time delays, especially considering the unique coordinate of the site.

文摘The advantages of structural magnetic resonance imaging(sMRI)-based multidimensional tensor morphological features in brain disease research are the high sensitivity and resolution of sMRI to comprehensively capture the key structural information and quantify the structural deformation. However, its direct application to regression analysis of high-dimensional small-sample data for brain age prediction may cause“dimensional catastrophe”.Therefore, this paper develops a brain age prediction method for high-dimensional small-sample data based on sMRI multidimensional morphological features and constructs brain age gap estimation(BrainAGE)biomarkers to quantify abnormal aging of key subcortical structures by extracting subcortical structural features for brain age prediction, which can then establish statistical analysis models to help diagnose Alzheimer’s disease and monitor health conditions, intervening at the preclinical stage.

文摘The existence of thermal storage will correspondingly increase the temperature of surrounding strata and promote the continuous expansion, volatilization, upward migration, and loss of gas in the strata. As a result,a low-concentration gas field will be formed in the strata above geothermal reservoirs.Geothermal reservoirs could in turn heat formation water and increase the solubility of soluble inorganic salts in the surrounding rocks and the total dissolved solids(TDS)content in the formation water.Since water can strongly wet and permeate strata, the dissolved inorganic salts migrate into upper strata along with water, giving rise to the formation of a high-concentration inorganic salt field in the strata above geothermal reservoirs.A higher geothermal reservoir temperature corresponds to more significant characteristics mentioned above. Therefore,a medium-to-high temperature geothermal system has a surface geochemical anomaly pattern of high inorganic salt concentrations and low gas concentrations(also referred to as the high-salt and low-gas pattern). This pattern is applied to the surface geochemical exploration of the two geothermal fields in Guangdong Province,i.e.,the Huangshadong geothermal field in Huizhou City and the Xinzhou geothermal field in Yangjiang City, revealing low-concentration gas fields above both. The application results also show that the exposed thermal spring water in both geological fields has higher concentration of dissolved inorganic salt than the surface water and nearby seawater, forming high-amplitude anomalies on the surface above geothermal reservoirs. These characteristics,as well as the measured temperature at known geothermal wells, verify the validity of the high-salt and low-gas pattern of medium-to-high temperature geothermal systems proposed in this study. Moreover, the high-salt and low-gas pattern proposed predicts three favorable medium-to-high temperature geothermal zones in the surface geochemical exploration of the Shiba Basin near the Huangshadong geothermal field.

文摘Background:Delayed mediastinal emphysema with subcutaneous emphysema after extubation is rarely reported in current literature.Symptomatic treatment is considered effective for management.Case presentation:We report a case of a 56-year-old female with longstanding rheumatoid arthritis under corticosteroid therapy who developed mediastinal emphysema with subcutaneous emphysema 2 days after recovering from general anesthesia for orthopedic surgery treating a femoral neck fracture. The patient received aggressive subcutaneous decompression and symptomatic management. Results:The patient’s condition improved after treatment.Based on computed tomography scan results,we hypothesize that the longstanding rheumatoid arthritis may have resulted in fragile lung tissue.Violent postoperative coughing likely caused rupture of small airways, leading to mediastinal emphysema. Conclusions:It is crucial to preoperatively assess the risk of airway injury in high-risk patients with longstanding rheumatoid arthritis.Delayed postoperative mediastinal emphysema should be carefully evaluated and managed aggressively to avoid exacerbation or life-threatening scenarios.Further research is warranted to elucidate the pathology and guide perioperative management in these patients.
