Lactiplantibacillus plantarum was effective in preventing local or systemic inflammation, however rare studies were reported on its prevention against salpingitis. This study aimed to investigate the preventive molecular regulatory network of microencapsulated Lactiplantibacillus plantarum(MLP) against salpingitis through multi-omics analysis, including microbiome, transcriptome and metabolome analyses.Results The results revealed that supplementation of MLP in diet significantly alleviated the inflammation and atrophy of uterus caused by lipopolysaccharide(LPS) in hens(P < 0.05). The concentrations of plasma IL-2 and IL-10 in hens of MLP-LPS group were higher than those in hens of LPS-stimulation group(CN-LPS group)(P < 0.05). The expression levels of TLR2, MYD88, NF-κB, COX2, and TNF-α were significantly decreased in the hens fed diet supplemented with MLP and suffered with LPS stimulation(MLP-LPS group) compared with those in the hens of CN-LPS group(P < 0.05). Differentially expressed genes(DEGs) induced by MLP were involved in inflammation, reproduction, and calcium ion transport. At the genus level, the MLP supplementation significantly increased the abundance of Phascolarctobacterium, whereas decreased the abundance of Candidatus_Saccharimonas in LPS challenged hens(P < 0.05). The metabolites altered by dietary supplementation with MLP were mainly involved in galactose, uronic acid, histidine, pyruvate and primary bile acid metabolism. Dietary supplementation with MLP inversely regulates LPSinduced differential metabolites such as Lyso PA(24:0/0:0)(P < 0.05).Conclusions In summary, dietary supplementation with microencapsulated Lactiplantibacillus plantarum prevented salpingitis by modulating the abundances of Candidatus_Saccharimonas, Phascolarctobacterium, Ruminococcus_torques_group and Eubacterium_hallii_group while downregulating the levels of plasma metabolites, p-tolyl sulfate, o-cresol and N-acetylhistamine and upregulating S-lactoylglutathione, simultaneously increasing the expressions of CPNE4, CNTN3 and ACAN genes in the uterus, and ultimately inhibiting oviducal inflammation.展开更多
Objective This study aimed to analyze the clinical efficacy of the Jianpi Shengxue tablet for treating renal anemia.Methods A total of 200 patients with renal anemia from December 2020 to December 2022 were enrolled a...Objective This study aimed to analyze the clinical efficacy of the Jianpi Shengxue tablet for treating renal anemia.Methods A total of 200 patients with renal anemia from December 2020 to December 2022 were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the control group were treated with polysaccharide-iron complex,and those in the experimental group were administered Jianpi Shengxue tablet.After 8 weeks of continuous treatment,the therapeutic outcomes regarding anemia were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the red blood cell(RBC)count,hematocrit(HCT),reticulocyte percentage(RET),ferritin(SF),serum iron(SI),transferrin saturation(TSAT),and serum albumin(ALB)all increased(P<0.01),and the clinical symptom score and total iron binding capacity decreased(P<0.01)in the experimental group.Moreover,the improvements in RBC,HCT,RET,SF,SI,TAST,ALB,and clinical symptoms(fatigue,anorexia,dull skin complexion,numbness of hands and feet)in the experimental group were significantly greater than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate for treating renal anemia was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The Jianpi Shengxue tablet demonstrates efficacy in treating renal anemia,leading to significant improvements in the laboratory examination results and clinical symptoms of patients with renal anemia.展开更多
AIM:To study functional brain abnormalities in patients with eye trauma(ET)and to discuss the pathophysiological mechanisms of ET.METHODS:Totally 31 ET patients and 31 healthy controls(HCs)were recruited.The age,gende...AIM:To study functional brain abnormalities in patients with eye trauma(ET)and to discuss the pathophysiological mechanisms of ET.METHODS:Totally 31 ET patients and 31 healthy controls(HCs)were recruited.The age,gender,and educational background characteristics of the two groups were similar.After functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)scanning,the subjects’spontaneous brain activity was evaluated with the functional connectivity(FC)method.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was used to classify the data.Pearson’s correlation analysis was used to explore the relationship between FC values in specific brain regions and clinical behaviors in patients with ET.RESULTS:Significantly increased FC between several regions was identified including the medial prefrontal cortex(MPFC)and left hippocampus formations(HF),the MPFC and left inferior parietal lobule(IPL),the left IPL and left medial temporal lobe(MTL),the left IPL and right MTL,and the right IPL and left MTL.No decreased region-to-region connectivity was detected in default mode network(DMN)sub-regions in patients with ET.Compared with HCs,ET patients exhibited significantly increased FC between several paired DMN regions,as follows:posterior cingulate cortex(PCC)and right HF(HF.R,t=2.196,P=0.032),right inferior parietal cortices(IPC.R)and left MTL(MTL.L,t=2.243,P=0.029),and right MTL(MTL.R)and HF.R(t=2.236,P=0.029).CONCLUSION:FC values in multiple brain regions of ET patients are abnormal,suggesting that these brain regions in ET patients may be dysfunctional,which may help to reveal the pathophysiological mechanisms of ET.展开更多

ANRGs integrated from GeneCard and Harmonizome we...This study aimed to explore the prognostic value of Anoikis-related genes (ANRGs) in colon cancer using bioinformatics and construct a prognostic model based on ANRGs. ANRGs integrated from GeneCard and Harmonizome were used to identify CRC subtypes and construct a prognostic model for CRC patients. The immune microenvironment (TME) between different subtypes was also investigated. Finally, a line chart based on ANRGs was provided for clinical use, and decision curve analysis (DCA) was performed to determine the potential benefits of the model for clinical strategies. We identified 14 differential expression genes (DEGs) related to survival in CRC Anoikis, and selected 7 genes to construct the prognostic model. The prognostic risk score was determined as independent prognostic factor. Functional analysis showed that high-risk and low-risk groups had different immune infiltration status. Combined with CRC clinical pathological characteristics, a line chart was constructed, and DCA analysis showed that this model could benefit from clinical treatment strategies. This study explored 7 prognostic-associated risk genes related to CRC and constructed a line chart, which can provide important reference value for clinical doctors to choose personalized treatment for CRC patients.展开更多

The Mg_(17)Al_(12)-phase,which is common and important in Mg-Al alloy,has long been regarded as a brittle phase in experiments but theoretical calculations report controversial results.To unravel why theoretical calcu...The Mg_(17)Al_(12)-phase,which is common and important in Mg-Al alloy,has long been regarded as a brittle phase in experiments but theoretical calculations report controversial results.To unravel why theoretical calculations report controversial results and determine whether Mg_(17)Al_(12)is brittle or ductile,density functional theory calculations on atomic level are performed to investigate mechanic properties of Mg_(17)Al_(12)without containing alloying elements and without taking the size effect.The results showed that the parameter k-point played critical role in the DFT-based elastic calculations.The convergent G/B ratio of Mg_(17)Al_(12)was about 0.52,suggesting that the Mg_(17)Al_(12)-phase was theoretically ductile although its ductility was poor.The chemical bonding in Mg_(17)Al_(12)was the mixture of metallic Mg-Mg bond and covalent Al-Al bond.The advantage of metallic bonding over covalent bonding provided a possible explanation for the ductility of Mg_(17)Al_(12).Possible reasons for the brittleness of Mg_(17)Al_(12)in experiments are also discussed.展开更多

Objective:The aim of the present study was to construct a risk assessment model which was tested by disease-free survival (DFS) of esophageal cancer after radical surgery.Methods:A total of 164 consecutive esophag...Objective:The aim of the present study was to construct a risk assessment model which was tested by disease-free survival (DFS) of esophageal cancer after radical surgery.Methods:A total of 164 consecutive esophageal cancer patients who had undergone radical surgery between January 2005 and December 2006 were retrospectively analyzed.The cutpoint of value at risk (VaR) was inferred by stem-and-leaf plot,as well as by independent-samples t-test for recurrence-free time,further confirmed by crosstab chi-square test,univariate analysis and Cox regression analysis for DFS.Results:The cutpoint of VaR was 0.3 on the basis of our model.The rate of recurrence was 30.3 % (30/99)and 52.3% (34/65) in VaR <0.3 and VaR >0.3 (chi-square test,x2 =7.984,P=0.005),respectively.The 1-,3-,and 5-year DFS of esophageal cancer after radical surgery was 70.4%,48.7%,and 45.3%,respectively in VaR >≥0.3,whereas 91.5%,75.8%,and 67.3%,respectively in VaR <0.3 (Log-rank test,x2 =9.59,P=0.0020),and further confirmed by Cox regression analysis [hazard ratio =2.10,95 % confidence interval (CI):1.2649-3.4751; P=0.0041].Conclusions:The model could be applied for integrated assessment of recurrence risk after radical surgery for esophageal cancer.展开更多

Strawberry mottle virus(SMoV)and strawberry vein banding virus(SVBV)cause diseases on strawberry plants,but the effect of coinfection of SMoV and SVBV on the growth,development,and defense system of strawberry(Fragari...Strawberry mottle virus(SMoV)and strawberry vein banding virus(SVBV)cause diseases on strawberry plants,but the effect of coinfection of SMoV and SVBV on the growth,development,and defense system of strawberry(Fragaria×ananassa Duchesne)remains unknown.We investigated the effect of SMoV and SVBV coinfection on strawberry cultivar‘Benihope’.The results showed that stem diameter,leaf size,leaf number,relative chlorophyll content,total chlorophyll content,photosynthetic parameters,and stomatal aperture of SMoV and SVBV co-infected strawberry(VIS)plants were in a weaker level than uninfected control plants,indicating that viruses inhibited the growth and photosynthesis of strawberry plants.Furthermore,the initiation of flowering and fruiting stages of VIS plants were delayed by about three weeks compared with the controls,and the fruiting period was shortened,demonstrating that the reproduction of VIS plants was inhibited.Fruit quality was damaged in VIS plants due to a significant increase in fruit firmness and titratable acidity and decrease in total soluble solid content than control fruits.More dead cells and H_(2)O_(2) accumulated along the veins of VIS leaves,and the content of abscisic acid and catalase activity significantly increased,whereas anthocyanin content was lower than that of control plants.The results demonstrate that SVBV and SMoV coinfection inhibits the growth and development of‘Benihope’strawberry plants,and the plants respond to viruses by regulating stomatal aperture,the accumulation of ABA and antioxidants.To our knowledge,this study contributes information to understand how both viruses impair the strawberry growth and development for the first time.展开更多
The conventional Kalman filter(CKF)is widely used in tightly-coupled INS/GPS integrated navigation systems.The linearization accuracy of the CKF observation model is one of the decisive factors of the estimation acc...The conventional Kalman filter(CKF)is widely used in tightly-coupled INS/GPS integrated navigation systems.The linearization accuracy of the CKF observation model is one of the decisive factors of the estimation accuracy and therefore navigation accuracy.Additionally,the conventional observation model(COM)used by the filter may be divergent,which would result into some terrible accuracies of INS/GPS integration navigation in some cases.To improve the navigation accuracy,the linearization accuracy of the COM still needs further improvement.To deal with this issue,the observation model is modified with the linearization of the range and range rate equations in this paper.Compared with COM,the modified observation model(MOM)further considers the difference between the real user position and the position calculated by SINS.To verify the advantages of this model,INS/GPS integrated navigation simulation experiments are conducted with the usage of COM and MOM respectively.According to the simulation results,the positions(velocities)calculated using COM are divergent over time while the others using MOM are convergent,which demonstrates the higher linearization accuracy of MOM.展开更多
Objective:The objective of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the effect of motivational interviewing(MI)on self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:Randomised controlled trials that assessed the effec...Objective:The objective of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the effect of motivational interviewing(MI)on self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:Randomised controlled trials that assessed the effects of MI on self-management and HbA1c levels in patients with type 2 diabetes were systematically reviewed using multiple electronic databases.Weighted mean differences with 95%confidence intervals were calculated for continuous data.Results:Ten trials were included in this meta-analysis.The self-management ability of patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent MI was significantly better than that of patients in the control group(WMD,2.37;95%CI,1.77e2.98;p<0.00001).Subgroup analysis showed that short-term MI(6 months)resulted in a significant decrease in the HbA1c level(p<0.05)but that this advantage was not present for relatively long-term MI(>6 months)(p>0.05).Conclusions:MI was associated with improved self-management abilities among patients with type 2 diabetes,and short-term MI(6 months)effectively decreased the HbA1c level.The effect of long-term MI(>6 months)on the HbA1c level remains uncertain.Large-scale,higher-quality randomised controlled trials are needed to confirm the present findings.展开更多
Background/purpose:The present meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of group reminiscence on depression in elderly patients.Methods:Published and unpublished randomised controlled trials that asse...Background/purpose:The present meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of group reminiscence on depression in elderly patients.Methods:Published and unpublished randomised controlled trials that assessed the effects of group reminiscence on depression in elderly patients were systematically reviewed using multiple electronic databases.Relative risks for dichotomous data and weighted mean differences for continuous data were calculated with 95%confidence intervals.Results:Ten trials were evaluated.Group reminiscence provided significantly greater relief of depressive symptoms than did the control intervention immediately after and 3 months after the intervention(p<0.00001).However,this advantage disappeared 6 months after the intervention(p?0.14).Group reminiscence significantly improved self-esteem and life satisfaction(p<0.01).Conclusion:Group reminiscence was associated with short-term depression relief among elderly patients with depression and effectively improved self-esteem and life satisfaction.Higher-quality large-scale randomised controlled trials are needed to confirm these findings.展开更多

文摘This study aimed to explore the prognostic value of Anoikis-related genes (ANRGs) in colon cancer using bioinformatics and construct a prognostic model based on ANRGs. ANRGs integrated from GeneCard and Harmonizome were used to identify CRC subtypes and construct a prognostic model for CRC patients. The immune microenvironment (TME) between different subtypes was also investigated. Finally, a line chart based on ANRGs was provided for clinical use, and decision curve analysis (DCA) was performed to determine the potential benefits of the model for clinical strategies. We identified 14 differential expression genes (DEGs) related to survival in CRC Anoikis, and selected 7 genes to construct the prognostic model. The prognostic risk score was determined as independent prognostic factor. Functional analysis showed that high-risk and low-risk groups had different immune infiltration status. Combined with CRC clinical pathological characteristics, a line chart was constructed, and DCA analysis showed that this model could benefit from clinical treatment strategies. This study explored 7 prognostic-associated risk genes related to CRC and constructed a line chart, which can provide important reference value for clinical doctors to choose personalized treatment for CRC patients.

文摘Formation of super-hydrophobic and corrosion-resistant coatings can provide significant corrosion protection to magnesium alloys.However,it remains a grand challenge to produce such coatings for magnesium-lithium alloys due to their high chemical reactivity.Herein,a one-step hydrothermal processing was developed using a stearic-acid-based precursor medium,which enables the hydrothermal conversion and the formation of low surface energy materials concurrently to produce the super-hydrophobic and corrosion-resistant coating.The multiscale microstructures with nanoscale stacks and microscale spheres on the surface,as well as the through-thickness stearates,lead to the super-hydrophobicity and excellent corrosion resistance of the obtained coating.

文摘The Mg_(17)Al_(12)-phase,which is common and important in Mg-Al alloy,has long been regarded as a brittle phase in experiments but theoretical calculations report controversial results.To unravel why theoretical calculations report controversial results and determine whether Mg_(17)Al_(12)is brittle or ductile,density functional theory calculations on atomic level are performed to investigate mechanic properties of Mg_(17)Al_(12)without containing alloying elements and without taking the size effect.The results showed that the parameter k-point played critical role in the DFT-based elastic calculations.The convergent G/B ratio of Mg_(17)Al_(12)was about 0.52,suggesting that the Mg_(17)Al_(12)-phase was theoretically ductile although its ductility was poor.The chemical bonding in Mg_(17)Al_(12)was the mixture of metallic Mg-Mg bond and covalent Al-Al bond.The advantage of metallic bonding over covalent bonding provided a possible explanation for the ductility of Mg_(17)Al_(12).Possible reasons for the brittleness of Mg_(17)Al_(12)in experiments are also discussed.

文摘To the editor:The impact of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic in 2020 on mental health was substantialin Chinai2and various other countries.34 Beyond the direct consequences of COVID-19,the pandemic created an environment in which many determinants of mental health were affected.Issues associated with the pandemic,such as loss of livelihood,limited access to medical services,reduced social interactions,and economic downturn,could potentially have adverse effects on the population's mental well-being.5 In November 2021,the World Health Organization(WHO)designated the new variant of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),variant B.1.1.529,as a variant of concern and named it Omicron;its rapid mutation and spread raised a new global health concern.

文摘Objective:The aim of the present study was to construct a risk assessment model which was tested by disease-free survival (DFS) of esophageal cancer after radical surgery.Methods:A total of 164 consecutive esophageal cancer patients who had undergone radical surgery between January 2005 and December 2006 were retrospectively analyzed.The cutpoint of value at risk (VaR) was inferred by stem-and-leaf plot,as well as by independent-samples t-test for recurrence-free time,further confirmed by crosstab chi-square test,univariate analysis and Cox regression analysis for DFS.Results:The cutpoint of VaR was 0.3 on the basis of our model.The rate of recurrence was 30.3 % (30/99)and 52.3% (34/65) in VaR <0.3 and VaR >0.3 (chi-square test,x2 =7.984,P=0.005),respectively.The 1-,3-,and 5-year DFS of esophageal cancer after radical surgery was 70.4%,48.7%,and 45.3%,respectively in VaR >≥0.3,whereas 91.5%,75.8%,and 67.3%,respectively in VaR <0.3 (Log-rank test,x2 =9.59,P=0.0020),and further confirmed by Cox regression analysis [hazard ratio =2.10,95 % confidence interval (CI):1.2649-3.4751; P=0.0041].Conclusions:The model could be applied for integrated assessment of recurrence risk after radical surgery for esophageal cancer.

文摘The microstructures of a SS400 steel after thermomechanical control process(TMCP) in an industrial production were observed by optical microscope,scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The results indicated that the size of ferrite grains was 4-5μm,and transmission of ferrite was around 70%.The types of the ultrafine ferrite grains were analyzed and the strengthening mechanisms were discussed.The results show that the ultrafine ferrite grains came from three processes,i.e.deformation induced ferrite transformation(DIFT).dynamic recrystallization of ferrite and accelerated cooling process.The increase in the strength of the material was mainly due to the grain refining.

文摘Strawberry mottle virus(SMoV)and strawberry vein banding virus(SVBV)cause diseases on strawberry plants,but the effect of coinfection of SMoV and SVBV on the growth,development,and defense system of strawberry(Fragaria×ananassa Duchesne)remains unknown.We investigated the effect of SMoV and SVBV coinfection on strawberry cultivar‘Benihope’.The results showed that stem diameter,leaf size,leaf number,relative chlorophyll content,total chlorophyll content,photosynthetic parameters,and stomatal aperture of SMoV and SVBV co-infected strawberry(VIS)plants were in a weaker level than uninfected control plants,indicating that viruses inhibited the growth and photosynthesis of strawberry plants.Furthermore,the initiation of flowering and fruiting stages of VIS plants were delayed by about three weeks compared with the controls,and the fruiting period was shortened,demonstrating that the reproduction of VIS plants was inhibited.Fruit quality was damaged in VIS plants due to a significant increase in fruit firmness and titratable acidity and decrease in total soluble solid content than control fruits.More dead cells and H_(2)O_(2) accumulated along the veins of VIS leaves,and the content of abscisic acid and catalase activity significantly increased,whereas anthocyanin content was lower than that of control plants.The results demonstrate that SVBV and SMoV coinfection inhibits the growth and development of‘Benihope’strawberry plants,and the plants respond to viruses by regulating stomatal aperture,the accumulation of ABA and antioxidants.To our knowledge,this study contributes information to understand how both viruses impair the strawberry growth and development for the first time.

文摘The conventional Kalman filter(CKF)is widely used in tightly-coupled INS/GPS integrated navigation systems.The linearization accuracy of the CKF observation model is one of the decisive factors of the estimation accuracy and therefore navigation accuracy.Additionally,the conventional observation model(COM)used by the filter may be divergent,which would result into some terrible accuracies of INS/GPS integration navigation in some cases.To improve the navigation accuracy,the linearization accuracy of the COM still needs further improvement.To deal with this issue,the observation model is modified with the linearization of the range and range rate equations in this paper.Compared with COM,the modified observation model(MOM)further considers the difference between the real user position and the position calculated by SINS.To verify the advantages of this model,INS/GPS integrated navigation simulation experiments are conducted with the usage of COM and MOM respectively.According to the simulation results,the positions(velocities)calculated using COM are divergent over time while the others using MOM are convergent,which demonstrates the higher linearization accuracy of MOM.
文摘Objective:The objective of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the effect of motivational interviewing(MI)on self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:Randomised controlled trials that assessed the effects of MI on self-management and HbA1c levels in patients with type 2 diabetes were systematically reviewed using multiple electronic databases.Weighted mean differences with 95%confidence intervals were calculated for continuous data.Results:Ten trials were included in this meta-analysis.The self-management ability of patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent MI was significantly better than that of patients in the control group(WMD,2.37;95%CI,1.77e2.98;p<0.00001).Subgroup analysis showed that short-term MI(6 months)resulted in a significant decrease in the HbA1c level(p<0.05)but that this advantage was not present for relatively long-term MI(>6 months)(p>0.05).Conclusions:MI was associated with improved self-management abilities among patients with type 2 diabetes,and short-term MI(6 months)effectively decreased the HbA1c level.The effect of long-term MI(>6 months)on the HbA1c level remains uncertain.Large-scale,higher-quality randomised controlled trials are needed to confirm the present findings.
文摘Background/purpose:The present meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of group reminiscence on depression in elderly patients.Methods:Published and unpublished randomised controlled trials that assessed the effects of group reminiscence on depression in elderly patients were systematically reviewed using multiple electronic databases.Relative risks for dichotomous data and weighted mean differences for continuous data were calculated with 95%confidence intervals.Results:Ten trials were evaluated.Group reminiscence provided significantly greater relief of depressive symptoms than did the control intervention immediately after and 3 months after the intervention(p<0.00001).However,this advantage disappeared 6 months after the intervention(p?0.14).Group reminiscence significantly improved self-esteem and life satisfaction(p<0.01).Conclusion:Group reminiscence was associated with short-term depression relief among elderly patients with depression and effectively improved self-esteem and life satisfaction.Higher-quality large-scale randomised controlled trials are needed to confirm these findings.
文摘[Objective] The research aimed to study influence factors of phosphorus removal by chemical method in sewage treatment system. [ Method] In different reaction systems, removal effect of the phosphorus in sewage by dosing lime and influence of the constraint factor were stud- ied. [ Result] Lime precipitation method treating high-concentration phosphorus wastewater could not only decline cost of phosphorus removal by chemical method, but also reach better treatment effect under suitable stirring and precipitation conditions by controlling alkalinity and pH. Phosphor- us content of chemical sludge after treatment could reach 9% -12%, with higher recyclable value. E Conclusion] Lime method treating phosphorus- rich sewage was more economic than low-concentration phosphorus sewage, and had very great potential for recycling phosphorus.
文摘The data of cultivated land quality monitoring sites,and the current situations and evolution trend of soil organic matter in cultivated land in Northeast China were analyzed.Then,the causes for low organic matter content were discussed.Finally,it came up with pertinent soil improvement recommendations,including actively promoting the quality protection technology model of cultivated land such as straw returning in accordance with local conditions,expanding organic fertilizer sources and increasing application of organic fertilizers,implementing reasonable crop rotation,planting green manure crops such as legumes,and realizing the combination of land use and land cultivation,establishing a reasonable fertilization system,combining organic and inorganic fertilizers with scientific fertilization,increasing fertilizer efficiency and reducing the application of chemical fertilizers,increasing financial investment and promoting the integration of funds related to cultivated land protection.
