Due to the complexity of marine environment,underwater acoustic signal will be affected by complex background noise during transmission.Underwater acoustic signal denoising is always a difficult problem in underwater ...Due to the complexity of marine environment,underwater acoustic signal will be affected by complex background noise during transmission.Underwater acoustic signal denoising is always a difficult problem in underwater acoustic signal processing.To obtain a better denoising effect,a new denoising method of underwater acoustic signal based on optimized variational mode decomposition by black widow optimization algorithm(BVMD),fluctuation-based dispersion entropy threshold improved by Otsu method(OFDE),cosine similarity stationary threshold(CSST),BVMD,fluctuation-based dispersion entropy(FDE),named BVMD-OFDE-CSST-BVMD-FDE,is proposed.In the first place,decompose the original signal into a series of intrinsic mode functions(IMFs)by BVMD.Afterwards,distinguish pure IMFs,mixed IMFs and noise IMFs by OFDE and CSST,and reconstruct pure IMFs and mixed IMFs to obtain primary denoised signal.In the end,decompose primary denoising signal into IMFs by BVMD again,use the FDE value to distinguish noise IMFs and pure IMFs,and reconstruct pure IMFs to obtain the final denoised signal.The proposed mothod has three advantages:(i)BVMD can adaptively select the decomposition layer and penalty factor of VMD.(ii)FDE and CS are used as double criteria to distinguish noise IMFs from useful IMFs,and Otsu algorithm and CSST algorithm can effectively avoid the error caused by manually selecting thresholds.(iii)Secondary decomposition can make up for the deficiency of primary decomposition and further remove a small amount of noise.The chaotic signal and real ship signal are denoised.The experiment result shows that the proposed method can effectively denoise.It improves the denoising effect after primary decomposition,and has good practical value.展开更多
AIM To investigate the specific biomarkers and potential pathogenesis of colorectal cancer-related ischemic stroke(CRCIS).METHODS A retrospective study was conducted on CRCIS patients(colorectal cancer patients with i...AIM To investigate the specific biomarkers and potential pathogenesis of colorectal cancer-related ischemic stroke(CRCIS).METHODS A retrospective study was conducted on CRCIS patients(colorectal cancer patients with ischemic stroke without conventional stroke risk factors) registered at seven centers between January 2007 and December 2017. Clinical data and laboratory and imaging findings were compared with age-and sex-matched patients with colorectal cancer(CRC) without ischemic stroke that were admitted to the same hospital during the same period. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to analyze the independent risk factors for CRCIS. A receiver operator characteristic curve was configured to calculate the optimal cut-off value of the products of the independent risk factors for CRCIS. RESULTS A total of 114 CRCIS patients and 114 CRC patients were included. Multiple lesions in multiple vascular territories were common in CRCIS patients(71, 62.28%). The levels of plasma D-dimer, carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA), cancer antigen 125, and neutrophil count were significantly higher in CRCIS patients than in CRC patients. Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that plasma D-dimer levels [odds ratio(OR) = 1.002, 95% confidence interval(CI): 1.001-1.003, P < 0.001], CEA levels(OR = 1.011, 95%CI: 1.006-1.015, P < 0.001), and neutrophil count levels(OR = 1.626, 95%CI: 1.268-2.087, P < 0.001) were independent risk factors for CRCIS. In addition, receiver operator characteristic curve revealed that the area under curve for the products of plasma D-dimer, CEA, and neutrophil count was 0.889 ± 0.022(95%CI: 0.847-0.932, P < 0.001), and the optimal cut-off value for the product was 252.06, which was called the CRCIS Index, with a sensitivity of 86.0% and specificity of 79.8%.CONCLUSION Hypercoagulability induced by elevated CEA and neutrophils may be an important cause of CRCIS. The CRCIS index, which serves as a biomarker of CRCIS, needs further study.展开更多
To improve the feature extraction of ship-radiated noise in a complex ocean environment,a novel feature extraction method for ship-radiated noise based on complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive s...To improve the feature extraction of ship-radiated noise in a complex ocean environment,a novel feature extraction method for ship-radiated noise based on complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive selective noise(CEEMDASN) and refined composite multiscale fluctuation-based dispersion entropy(RCMFDE) is proposed.CEEMDASN is proposed in this paper which takes into account the high frequency intermittent components when decomposing the signal.In addition,RCMFDE is also proposed in this paper which refines the preprocessing process of the original signal based on composite multi-scale theory.Firstly,the original signal is decomposed into several intrinsic mode functions(IMFs)by CEEMDASN.Energy distribution ratio(EDR) and average energy distribution ratio(AEDR) of all IMF components are calculated.Then,the IMF with the minimum difference between EDR and AEDR(MEDR)is selected as characteristic IMF.The RCMFDE of characteristic IMF is estimated as the feature vectors of ship-radiated noise.Finally,these feature vectors are sent to self-organizing map(SOM) for classifying and identifying.The proposed method is applied to the feature extraction of ship-radiated noise.The result shows its effectiveness and universality.展开更多

Thalidomide inducesγ-globin expression in erythroid progenitor cells,but its efficacy on patients with transfusion-dependentβ-thalassemia(TDT)remains unclear.In this phase 2,multi-center,randomized,double-blind clin...Thalidomide inducesγ-globin expression in erythroid progenitor cells,but its efficacy on patients with transfusion-dependentβ-thalassemia(TDT)remains unclear.In this phase 2,multi-center,randomized,double-blind clinical trial,we aimed to determine the safety and efficacy of thalidomide in TDT patients.A hundred patients of 14 years or older were randomly assigned to receive placebo or thalidomide for 12 weeks,followed by an extension phase of at least 36 weeks.The primary endpoint was the change of hemoglobin(Hb)level in the patients.The secondary endpoints included the red blood cell(RBC)units transfused and adverse effects.In the placebo-controlled period,Hb concentrations in patients treated with thalidomide achieved a median elevation of 14.0(range,2.5 to 37.5)g/L,whereas Hb in patients treated with placebo did not significantly change.Within the 12 weeks,the mean RBC transfusion volume for patients treated with thalidomide and placebo was 5.4±5.0 U and 10.3±6.4 U,respectively(P<0.001).Adverse events of drowsiness,dizziness,fatigue,pyrexia,sore throat,and rash were more common with thalidomide than placebo.In the extension phase,treatment with thalidomide for 24 weeks resulted in a sustainable increase in Hb concentrations which reached 104.9±19.0 g/L,without blood transfusion.Significant increase in Hb concentration and reduction in RBC transfusions were associated with nonβ0/β0 and HBS1L-MYB(rs9399137 C/T,C/C;rs4895441 A/G,G/G)genotypes.These results demonstrated that thalidomide is effective in patients with TDT.展开更多

As an important part of PSCs, charge transporting materials play an important role in the performance of the devices. In this review, we introduce the evolution of electron and hole transporting materials in PSCs in recent years and summarize some typical charge transporting materials and their applications in PSCs. For electron transporting materials, metal oxides(TiO_(2), SnO_(2) and ZnO) and organic materials(fullerenes, non-fullerenes and their derivatives)are the most widely used materials in PSCs. For hole transporting materials, small molecule spiro-OMeTAD(2,2’,7,7’-Tetrakis[N,N-di(4-methoxyphenyl)amino]-9,9’-spirobifluorene), polymer PEDOT:PSS(poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonate), PTAA(poly-[bi(4-phenyl)](2,4,3-trimethylphenyla-mine)), P3 HT(poly(3-hexythiophene)) and inorganic materials(NiOx, CuSCN, CuO) are adopted in PSCs. In order to improve the overall electrochemical properties of AB5-type storage alloys, the new type composite alloys M1Ni3.5Co0.6Mn0.4Al0.5–x wt% Mm0.89-Mg0.11-Ni2.97Mn0.14Al0.20Co0.54(x = 0, 5, 10; M1 means mischmet...In order to improve the overall electrochemical properties of AB5-type storage alloys, the new type composite alloys M1Ni3.5Co0.6Mn0.4Al0.5–x wt% Mm0.89-Mg0.11-Ni2.97Mn0.14Al0.20Co0.54(x = 0, 5, 10; M1 means mischmetal) were prepared by means of ball milling. The composite alloys are shown to be single La Ni5 phase by X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns. The maximum discharge capacity slightly increases from 315 m Ah g-1for M1Ni3.5Co0.6Mn0.4Al0.5to 324 m Ah g-1(x = 5) and325 m Ah g-1(x = 10). The addition of AB3-type La–Mg–Ni-based alloy has a positive effect on the cycle stability.With the addition of Mm0.89Mg0.11Ni2.97Mn0.14-Al0.20Co0.54 alloy, the exchange current density(I0), the limiting current density(IL), and the diffusion coefficient of hydrogen(D) of the alloy electrodes increase, leading to a corresponding improvement of the high rate dischargeability.展开更多

文摘In order to improve the overall electrochemical properties of AB5-type storage alloys, the new type composite alloys M1Ni3.5Co0.6Mn0.4Al0.5–x wt% Mm0.89-Mg0.11-Ni2.97Mn0.14Al0.20Co0.54(x = 0, 5, 10; M1 means mischmetal) were prepared by means of ball milling. The composite alloys are shown to be single La Ni5 phase by X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns. The maximum discharge capacity slightly increases from 315 m Ah g-1for M1Ni3.5Co0.6Mn0.4Al0.5to 324 m Ah g-1(x = 5) and325 m Ah g-1(x = 10). The addition of AB3-type La–Mg–Ni-based alloy has a positive effect on the cycle stability.With the addition of Mm0.89Mg0.11Ni2.97Mn0.14-Al0.20Co0.54 alloy, the exchange current density(I0), the limiting current density(IL), and the diffusion coefficient of hydrogen(D) of the alloy electrodes increase, leading to a corresponding improvement of the high rate dischargeability.
