In the face of these problems, the medical concept has been re-examined and re-thought. The concept of the holistic view of the unity of nature and man in traditional Chinese medicine has certain enlightenment for dealing with the problems in the current medical development. Based on the holistic view of the unity of nature and man, the overall connection between human’s heart and body and nature is explained, and the further construction of TCM psychosomatic medicine is conducive to guiding the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases, and providing new enlightenment for the current medical concept thinking and clinical disease research.展开更多

Through historical changes, yin and yang have gradually been regarded as a concept or theory, thus making it difficult for people to understand the connotation of Yin-Yang and make new discoveries and progress. Nowadays, many scholars in China and the West are interested in studying the treasures of ancient Chinese civilization. We illustrate the actual function of Yin and Yang by explaining the essential state of matter, the law of physical movement, the transformation of energy, and then illustrate the practical application in life and science. In conclusion, yin-yang is a key to unlocking the treasures of traditional Chinese civilization, which can help to bring into play its original values, and continue to provide new insights and directions for the development of modern science and the advancement of humanities.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect on influenza virus of Jinchai,a capsule made of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS:Madin-darby canine kidney(MDCK) cells were infected with the FM1 strain of influenza virus A(subtyp...OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect on influenza virus of Jinchai,a capsule made of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS:Madin-darby canine kidney(MDCK) cells were infected with the FM1 strain of influenza virus A(subtype H1N1) in vitro.They were used to explore how Jinchai affected cell adsorption,cell membrane fusion,transcription and replication of the influenza virus.Hemagglutinin(HA) protein,intracellular pH,and influenza virus protein acid(PA) polymerase subunit were detected with confocal microscopy and real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS:Jinchai significantly reduced the expression of HA and PA polymerase subunit mRNA in infected MDCK cells.Jinchai also significantly decreased intracellular pH in infected cells.CONCLUSIONS:Jinchai had strong anti-influenza activity against the influenza virus.It weakened the ability of the influenza virus to adsorb to cell wall and fuse with cell membranes in the early infection stage,and inhibited the transcription and replication of the virus.展开更多
