Understanding livelihood vulnerability:a perspective from Western Sichuan’s ethnic rural settings

To explore the livelihood status and key influencing factors of rural households in the minority areas,we collected flat data from 284 rural households in 32 villages across 12 counties of Western Sichuan from 2021 to 2022.We conducted participatory household survey on the livelihood status of the rural households and try to identify the key factors to influence their livelihood vulnerability using multiple linear regression.The results showed that:the livelihood situation of the rural households is relatively vulnerable.The vulnerability varies significantly with the income levels,education levels,and income sources.The vulnerability of farm households,categorized from low to high livelihood types,follows the sequence:non-agricultural dominant households,non-agricultural households,agricultural dominant households,and pure agricultural households.The degree of damage to the natural environment,education costs,loan opportunities,the proportion of agricultural income to annual household income,and the presence of sick people in the household have significant positive effects on the livelihood vulnerability index(LVI)of rural households;while help from relatives and friends,net income per capita,household size,household education,agricultural land area,participation in industrial organizations,number of livestock,purchase of commercial houses,drinking water source,and self-supply of food have significant negative effects.Based on the findings,we believe that local rural households operate in a complex livelihood system and recommend continuous interventions targeting key influences to provide empirical research support for areas facing similar situations. 展开更多

Feline calicivirus(FCV)was a highly prevalent RNA virus causing upper respiratory tract infections in cats through the mouth and nose around the world,result in the death of cats especially under 1 year old with upper respiratory tract disease(URTD)and virulent systemic disease(FCV-VSD)[1].Infected cats usually presented with mouth ulcers,salivation and gingivitis-stomatitis.Furthermore,both recovered cats and asymptomatic carriers can still carry and spread the FCV virus for extended periods of time,contributing to the potential for outbreak.This presented a significant threat to the health and lives of cats,and rare wildlife and took a heavy financial loss on the pet industry,making the prevention and control of the virus difficult.Hence,rapid identification of FCV in clinical samples was necessary to prevent the spread of FCV and avoid financial loss. 展开更多

BACKGROUND The current understanding of the magnitude and consequences of multimorbidity in Chinese older adults with coronary heart disease(CHD)is insufficient.We aimed to assess the association and population-attributable fractions(PAFs)between multimorbidity and mortality among hospitalized older patients who were diagnosed with CHD in Shenzhen,China.METHODS We conducted a retrospective cohort study of older Chinese patients(aged≥65 years)who were diagnosed with CHD.Cox proportional hazards models were used to estimate the associations between multimorbidity and all-cause and cardiovascular disease(CVD)mortality.We also calculated the PAFs.RESULTS The study comprised 76,455 older hospitalized patients who were diagnosed with CHD between January 1,2016,and August 31,2022.Among them,70,217(91.9%)had multimorbidity,defined as the presence of at least one of the predefined 14 chronic conditions.Those with cancer,hemorrhagic stroke and chronic liver disease had the worst overall death risk,with adjusted HRs(95%CIs)of 4.05(3.77,4.38),2.22(1.94,2.53),and 1.85(1.63,2.11),respectively.For CVD mortality,the highest risk was observed for hemorrhagic stroke,ischemic stroke,and chronic kidney disease;the corresponding adjusted HRs(95%CIs)were 3.24(2.77,3.79),1.91(1.79,2.04),and 1.81(1.64,1.99),respectively.All-cause mortality was mostly attributable to cancer,heart failure and ischemic stroke,with PAFs of 11.8,10.2,and 9.1,respectively.As for CVD mortality,the leading PAFs were heart failure,ischemic stroke and diabetes;the corresponding PAFs were 18.0,15.7,and 6.1,respectively.CONCLUSIONS Multimorbidity was common and had a significant impact on mortality among older patients with CHD in Shenzhen,China.Cancer,heart failure,ischemic stroke and diabetes are the primary contributors to PAFs.Therefore,prioritizing improved treatment and management of these comorbidities is essential for the survival prognosis of CHD patients from a holistic public health perspective. 展开更多

肺癌是全球最常见的恶性肿瘤,也是癌症死亡的主要原因。人表皮生长因子受体2(human epidermal growth factor receptor 2,HER2)阳性非小细胞肺癌(non-small cell lung cancer,NSCLC)是指因HER2基因发生突变、扩增、过表达,导致其功能失... 肺癌是全球最常见的恶性肿瘤,也是癌症死亡的主要原因。人表皮生长因子受体2(human epidermal growth factor receptor 2,HER2)阳性非小细胞肺癌(non-small cell lung cancer,NSCLC)是指因HER2基因发生突变、扩增、过表达,导致其功能失调,从而发生的NSCLC。HER2是HER家族中活性最高的受体,可以与其他成员结合形成二聚体,激活多种信号通路,从而调节细胞增殖、分化、迁移和凋亡。在NSCLC中,HER2阳性通常被认为是预后不良的标志。目前HER2阳性NSCLC的诊疗尚未成熟。通常使用免疫组化(immunohistochemistry,IHC)、下一代测序(next generation sequencing,NGS)等方法来检测HER2突变、扩增、过表达这些阳性状态。在先前的研究中,抗肿瘤药物在HER2阳性NSCLC中并未显示出理想的疗效。但近些年来,相关研究表明靶向治疗中的抗体药物偶联物(antibody-drug conjugates,ADCs)和新型酪氨酸激酶抑制剂(tyrosine kinase inhibitors,TKIs)对HER2阳性NSCLC显示出较好的抗肿瘤活性。本文归纳了HER2阳性NSCLC的诊断和治疗进展,为后续研究提供参考。 展开更多

Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)have been considered as one of the most promising alternatives to lithiumion batteries(LIBs)in view of their competitive energy density with significantly reduced product cost.Moreover,alloy-type materials are expected as a high-performance anode of PIBs thanks to their intrinsic chemical stability as well as high theoretical specific capacity.Unfortunately,the serious incompatibility between alloy-type active materials and electrolytes,especially for the formation of unstable solidelectrolyte interfacial(SEI)films,often leads to insufficient cycle life.Herein,the formation mechanism of SEI films in the K-storage systems based on carbon sphere confined Sb anode(Sb@CS)were investigated in commercially available electrolytes.Physical characterizations and theoretical calculation revealed that the solvents in the dilute electrolyte of 0.8 M KPF_(6)/EC+DEC were excessively decomposed on the interface to generate unstable SEI and thus result in inferior K-storage stability.On the contrary,a salt-concentrated electrolyte(3 M KFSI/DME)can generate inorganic-dominated stable SEI due to the preferential decomposition of anions.As a result,the prepared Sb@CS in the matched 3 M KFSI/DME electrolyte delivered a high reversible capacity of 467.8 m A h g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 100 m A g^(-1),with a slow capacity decay of 0.19%per cycle from the 10th to the 100th cycle.These findings are of great significance for revealing the interfacial reaction between electrodes and electrolytes as well as improving the stability of Sb-based anode materials for PIBs. 展开更多

To improve the accuracy of microseismic inversion,seismic anisotropy and moment tensor source should be carefully considered in the forward modelling stage.In this study,3D microseismic anisotropy wave forward modelling with a moment tensor source was proposed.The modelling was carried out based on a rotated-staggered-grid(RSG)scheme.In contrast to staggered-grids,the RSG scheme defines the velocity components and densities at the same grid,as do the stress components and elastic parameters.Therefore,the elastic moduli do not need to be interpolated.In addition,the detailed formulation and implementation of moment-tensor source loaded on the RSG was presented by equating the source to the stress increments.Meanwhile,the RSG-based 3D wave equation forward modelling was performed in parallel using compute unified device architecture(CUDA)programming on a graphics processing unit(GPU)to improve its efficiency.Numerical simulations including homogeneous and anisotropic models were carried out using the method proposed in this paper,and compared with other methods to prove the reliability of this method.Furthermore,the high efficiency of the proposed approach was evaluated.The results show that the computational efficiency of proposed method can be improved by about two orders of magnitude compared with traditional central processing unit(CPU)computing methods.It could not only help the analysis of microseismic full wavefield records,but also provide support for passive source inversion,including location and focal mechanism inversion,and velocities inversion. 展开更多

Deep-ultraviolet(DUV)disinfection technology provides an expeditious and efficient way to suppress the transmission of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).However,the influences of viral variants(Delta and Omicron)and low temperatures on the DUV virucidal efficacy are still unknown.Here,we developed a reliable and uniform planar light source comprised of 275-nm light-emitting diodes(LEDs)to investigate the effects of these two unknown factors and delineated the principle behind different disinfection performances.We found the lethal effect of DUV at the same radiation dose was reduced by the cryogenic environment,and a negative-U large-relaxation model was used to explain the difference in view of the photoelectronic nature.The chances were higher in the cryogenic environment for the capture of excited electrons within active genetic molecules back to the initial photo-ionised positions.Additionally,the variant of Omicron required a significantly higher DUV dose to achieve the same virucidal efficacy,and this was thanks to the genetic and proteinic characteristics of the Omicron.The findings in this study are important for human society using DUV disinfection in cold conditions(e.g.,the food cold chain logistics and the open air in winter),and the relevant DUV disinfection suggestion against COVID-19 is provided. 展开更多

Cooperative Content Caching and Delivery in Vehicular Networks: A Deep Neural Network Approach

The growing demand for low delay vehicular content has put tremendous strain on the backbone network.As a promising alternative,cooperative content caching among different cache nodes can reduce content access delay.However,heterogeneous cache nodes have different communication modes and limited caching capacities.In addition,the high mobility of vehicles renders the more complicated caching environment.Therefore,performing efficient cooperative caching becomes a key issue.In this paper,we propose a cross-tier cooperative caching architecture for all contents,which allows the distributed cache nodes to cooperate.Then,we devise the communication link and content caching model to facilitate timely content delivery.Aiming at minimizing transmission delay and cache cost,an optimization problem is formulated.Furthermore,we use a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL)approach to model the decision-making process for caching among heterogeneous cache nodes,where each agent interacts with the environment collectively,receives observations yet a common reward,and learns its own optimal policy.Extensive simulations validate that the MADRL approach can enhance hit ratio while reducing transmission delay and cache cost. 展开更多

背景肠系膜淋巴结炎(mesenteric lymphadenitis,ML)是儿童急性腹泻发生的主要原因,影响患儿身体健康.目前,其病因尚不完全清晰,一般认为因呼吸道病毒或细菌感染引起,与免疫功能低下密切相关.维生素D与复方谷氨酰胺被证实具有调节免疫的... 背景肠系膜淋巴结炎(mesenteric lymphadenitis,ML)是儿童急性腹泻发生的主要原因,影响患儿身体健康.目前,其病因尚不完全清晰,一般认为因呼吸道病毒或细菌感染引起,与免疫功能低下密切相关.维生素D与复方谷氨酰胺被证实具有调节免疫的作用,故本研究将维生素D联合复方谷氨酰胺应用至ML患儿,尝试探讨其应用效果.目的探究维生素D联合复方谷氨酰胺治疗学龄前儿童ML的疗效及对细胞免疫功能的影响.方法选取2019-12/2022-12我院180例学龄前ML患儿,随机分为两组.对照组90例,采用复方谷氨酰胺治疗,研究组90例,采用维生素D联合复方谷氨酰胺治疗,均持续治疗7 d.比较两组治疗效果、不良反应、临床症状改善时间、治疗前后血清炎性因子[肿瘤坏死因子-α(tumor necrosis factorα,TNF-α)、降钙素原(procalcitonin,PCT)、白介素-8(interleukin 8,IL-8)]、免疫功能指标[免疫球蛋白A(immunoglobulin A,IgA)、IgG、CD3^(+)、CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)]、影像学指标(淋巴结长径、短径),治疗结束后随访2 mo,统计比较两组腹痛复发率.结果研究组治疗总有效率92.22%(83/90)与对照组86.67%(78/90)比较,无显著差异(P>0.05);研究组发热消退、腹痛消失、恶心/呕吐消失、淋巴结肿大消失时间较对照组缩短(P<0.05);研究组治疗3 d后血清PCT、TNF-α、IL-8水平低于对照组(P<0.05);研究组治疗3 d后血清IgA、IgG、CD3^(+)、CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)水平高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组治疗3 d后淋巴结长径、短径短于对照组(P<0.05);研究组不良反应发生率2.22%(2/90)与对照组3.33%(3/90)比较,无显著差异,研究组腹痛复发率5.56%(5/90)低于对照组14.44%(13/90)(P<0.05).结论维生素D联合复方谷氨酰胺治疗学龄前儿童ML安全有效,能显著抑制患儿机体炎症反应,改善免疫功能,促进症状消退,加速病情恢复,且能降低复发率. 展开更多

目的观察1,25-(OH)_2D_3对特发性肺纤维化(IPF)大鼠中PI3K、AKT、m TOR表达的影响,并探讨其对IPF的作用机制。方法90只雄性SD大鼠随机分为模型组、治疗组及对照组,每组30只。模型组和治疗组按5 mg/kg的剂量气管内注射博来霉素,复制肺纤... 目的观察1,25-(OH)_2D_3对特发性肺纤维化(IPF)大鼠中PI3K、AKT、m TOR表达的影响,并探讨其对IPF的作用机制。方法90只雄性SD大鼠随机分为模型组、治疗组及对照组,每组30只。模型组和治疗组按5 mg/kg的剂量气管内注射博来霉素,复制肺纤维化模型,对照组注入无菌生理盐水(200μl/只)。注射后第2天起,治疗组腹腔注射1,25-(OH)_2D_3(2μg/kg),模型组和对照组分别腹腔注射1,25-(OH)_2D_3溶剂(200μl/只)和无菌生理盐水(200μl/只),均隔天1次。各组于第14、21和28天分别处死10只,检测各组大鼠肺组织中羟脯氨酸的含量,实时聚合酶链反应(real-time PCR)和免疫组织化学方法分别从m RNA水平和蛋白质水平检测肺组织中PI3K、AKT、m TOR的表达。结果模型组和治疗组大鼠肺组织羟脯氨酸的含量,PI3K、AKT、m TOR 3种基因的转录表达和蛋白质表达量,在第14、21和28天均高于对照组(P<0.05),且治疗组中的上述指标,在各时间又均低于模型组(P<0.05)。结论IPF的发生发展过程中,PI3K-AKT-m TOR通路具有重要作用,1,25-(OH)_2D_3对IPF有一定的治疗作用,其机制可能是通过抑制PI3K-AKT-m TOR通路发挥其治疗作用。 展开更多

目的分析腹腔镜D2根治术联合胃背侧系膜近胃端完整系膜切除术(CME)治疗进展期胃癌的近期疗效。方法回顾性分析2018年2月—2019年1月滨州医学院附属医院收治的80例进展期胃癌患者临床资料。将40例实施腹腔镜D2根治术的患者作为对照组,其... 目的分析腹腔镜D2根治术联合胃背侧系膜近胃端完整系膜切除术(CME)治疗进展期胃癌的近期疗效。方法回顾性分析2018年2月—2019年1月滨州医学院附属医院收治的80例进展期胃癌患者临床资料。将40例实施腹腔镜D2根治术的患者作为对照组,其余40例实施腹腔镜D2根治术联合CME的患者作为观察组。比较两组患者的手术指标、生活质量综合评定问卷(GQOLI-74)、并发症发生率、肿瘤复发率、肿瘤转移率、生存率。结果观察组手术时间、住院时间短于对照组(P<0.05),术中出血量少于对照组,淋巴结清扫数目多于对照组(P<0.05)。两组患者首次排气时间比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。两组患者并发症发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。两组患者6个月生存率、肿瘤复发率、肿瘤转移率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。观察组1年的生存率高于对照组,肿瘤转移率低于对照组(P<0.05)。两组患者1年的肿瘤复发率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。观察组和对照组术后GQOLI-74评分较术前升高(P<0.05)。观察组术后GQOLI-74评分较对照组升高(P<0.05)。两组患者术前GQOLI-74评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论CME联合D2根治术治疗进展期胃癌有利于彻底清除淋巴结,减少手术时间及术中出血量,促进术后恢复,改善生活质量,并发症更少,较D2根治术可行性更高。 展开更多
