BACKGROUND Postpartum quality of life(QoL)in women with heart disease has been neglected.AIM To improve clinical communication and treatment,we integrated medical data and subjective characteristics to study postpartu...BACKGROUND Postpartum quality of life(QoL)in women with heart disease has been neglected.AIM To improve clinical communication and treatment,we integrated medical data and subjective characteristics to study postpartum QoL concerns.METHODS The study assessed QoL 6 wk after birth using the 12-Item Short-Form Health Survey.The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale,Cardiac Anxiety Questionnaire,European Heart Failure Self-Care Behavior Scale,and a self-designed questionnaire based on earlier research were also used to assess patient characteristics.Patient data were collected.Prediction models were created using multiple linear regression.RESULTS This retrospective study examined postpartum QoL in 105 cardiac patients.Postpartum QoL scores were lower(90.69±13.82)than those of women without heart disease,with physical component scores(41.09±9.91)lower than mental component scores(49.60±14.87).Postpartum depression(33.3%),moderate anxiety(37.14%),pregnancy concerns(57.14%),offspring heart problems(57.14%),and life expectancy worries(48.6%)were all prevalent.No previous cardiac surgery,multiparity,higher sadness and cardiac anxiety,and fear of unfavorable pregnancy outcomes were strongly related to lower QoL(R^(2)=0.525).CONCLUSION Postpartum QoL is linked to physical and mental health in women with heart disease.Our study emphasizes the need for healthcare workers to recognize the unique characteristics of these women while developing and implementing comprehensive management approaches during their maternity care.展开更多
Objective:To clarify the material basis of Chinese medicine pair“Radix Paeoniae Rubra-Cortex Moutan”(Chishao-Mudanpi)and explore their mechanism in the treatment of ICH with network pharmacology.Methods:The active i...Objective:To clarify the material basis of Chinese medicine pair“Radix Paeoniae Rubra-Cortex Moutan”(Chishao-Mudanpi)and explore their mechanism in the treatment of ICH with network pharmacology.Methods:The active ingredients contained in Radix Paeoniae Rubra and Cortex Moutan were searched and selected based on the oral bioavailability prediction and drug-likeness prediction from the TCMSP database.Then the targets of cerebral hemorrhage were collected from GeneCards,OMIM,and DrugBank databases.After obtained the intersections of drugs and disease,the active component target disease interactive network diagram was drawn by Cytoscape software.The obtained key targets were uploaded to the STRING database for analysis and construct a PPI network map.GO function enrichment analysis and KEGG analysis were performed on the key target proteins.Results:Collected the active ingredients of Radix Paeoniae 119,Radix Paeoniae 55,including paeoniflorin,baicalin,β-sitosterol,etc.Related drug target protein 1190,ICH disease-related genes 823,"Radix Paeoniae-Radix Paeoniae"and 72 common targets of ICH,mainly acting on Akt1,IL6,VEGFA,CASP3,EGF,involving 133 related signaling pathways such as AGE-RAGE,TNF,IL-17,HIF1,PI3K-Akt.Conclusion:The combination of"Radix Paeoniae Rubra-Cortex Moutan"in the treatment of ICH has the characteristics of multiple pathways and multiple targets,which provides a reference and basis for further molecular biology verification in the future.展开更多
Directional axon regeneration and remyelination are crucial for repair of spinal cord injury(SCI),but existing treatments do not effectively promote those processes.Here,we propose a strategy for construction of niche...Directional axon regeneration and remyelination are crucial for repair of spinal cord injury(SCI),but existing treatments do not effectively promote those processes.Here,we propose a strategy for construction of niche-specific spinal white matter-like tissue(WMLT)using decellularized optic nerve(DON)loaded with neurotrophin-3(NT-3)-overexpressing oligodendrocyte precursor cells.A rat model with a white matter defect in the dorsal spinal cord of the T10 segment was used.The WMLT transplantation group showed significant improvement in coordinated motor functions compared with the control groups.WMLT transplants integrated well with host spinal cord white matter,effectively addressing several barriers to directional axonal regeneration and myelination during SCI repair.In WMLT,laminin was found to promote development of oligodendroglial lineage(OL)cells by binding to laminin receptors.Interestingly,laminin could also guide linear axon regeneration via interactions with specific integrins on the axon surface.The WMLT developed here utilizes the unique microstructure and bioactive matrix of DON to create a niche rich in laminin,NT-3 and OL cells to achieve significant structural repair of SCI.Our protocol can help to promote research on repair of nerve injury and construction of neural tissues and organoids that form specific cell niches.展开更多
