Aiming at the subband division of ultra-wide bandwidth low-frequency(UWL)signal(frequency coverage range:704–4032 MHz)of the Xinjiang 110 m QiTai radio Telescope(QTT),a scheme of ultra-wide bandwidth signal is designed.First,we analyze the effect of different window functions such as the Hanning window,Hamming window,and Kaiser window on the performance of finite impulse response(FIR)digital filters,and implement a critical sampling polyphase filter bank(CS-PFB)based on the Hamming window FIR digital filter.Second,we generate 3328 MHz simulation data of ultra-wideband pulsar baseband in the frequency range of 704–4032 MHz using the ultra-wide bandwidth pulsar baseband data generation algorithm based on the 400 MHz bandwidth pulsar baseband data obtained from Parkes CASPSR observations.Third,we obtain 26 subbands of 128 MHz based on CS-PFB and the simulation data,and the pulse profile of each subband by coherent dispersion,integration,and folding.Finally,the phase of each subband pulse profile is aligned by non-coherent dedispersion,and to generate a broadband pulse profile,which is basically the same as the pulse profile obtained from the original data using DSPSR.The experimental results show that the scheme for the QTT UWL receiving system is feasible,and the proposed channel algorithm in this paper is effective. 展开更多

Background Two studies were designed to determine standard ileal crude protein(CP)and amino acid(AA)digestibility of soybean meal(SBM)from different origins fed to non-pregnant and pregnant sows.Seven solvent-extracted SBMs from soybeans produced in the USA,Brazil,and China were selected.In Exp.1,eight different diets were created:a nitrogen(N)-free diet and 7 experimental diets containing SBM from different origins as the only N source.Eight non-pregnant,multiparous sows were arranged in an 8×8 Latin square design(8 periods and 8 diets).In Exp.2,the diet formula was the same as in Exp.1.Eight gestating sows(parity 3)were assigned to 4 different diets in a replicated 4×3 Youden square design(three periods and four diets)in mid-gestation and again in late-gestation stages.Results When fed to non-pregnant and late-gestating sows,the standardized ileal digestibility(SID)of CP and most AAs from different SBM were not significantly different(P>0.05).When fed to mid-gestating sows,the SID values for Arg,His,Lys,Phe,Cys,Gly,Ser,and Tyr in SBM 1 were lower than in SBM 4 and 5(P<0.05),whereas SID for Leu from SBM 5 was higher than in SBM 1 and 4(P<0.05).SID values for Ile,Ala,and Asp from SBM 4 were lower than in SBM 1 and 5(P<0.05).Sows had significantly greater SID values for Lys,Ala,and Asp during mid-gestation when compared with late-gestation stages(P<0.05).Mid-gestating sows had greater SID value for Val and lower SID value for Tyr when compared with non-pregnant and late-gestating sows(P<0.01),whereas non-pregnant sows had significantly greater SID value for Met when compared with gestating sows(P<0.01).Conclusions When fed to mid-gestating sows,the SID values for most AAs varied among SBM samples.The SID values for Lys,Met,Val,Ala,Asp,and Tyr in SBM were affected by sow gestation stages.Our findings provide a cornerstone for accurate SBM use in sow diets. 展开更多

The link between dietary nutrients intake and cardiovascular diseases in cold regions

Background:The cold winter weather in northern China influences the dietary habits of its residents,contributing to a heightened risk of cardiovascular disorders,such as hypertension and coronary heart disease.Key factors include low vegetable consumption and high salt and fat intakes.This study aims to investigate the relationships between northern dietary nutrient intake in northern China and cardiovascular disorders during the winter season.Methods:A food frequency questionnaire tailored to the actual eating habits in northern China was designed.Retrospective data from 955 Chinese adults were collected from November to March between 2014 to 2023.Logistic regression was employed to analyze the relationship between dietary nutrients and cardiovascular diseases,with model performance assessed using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves.Results:Adjusted for gender,age,and body mass index(BMI),an inverse association was observed between vitamin A(OR=0.706,95%CI:0.550,0.907),nicotinic acid(OR=0.584,95%CI:0.447,0.762),phosphorus(OR=0.777,95%CI:0.608,0.994),selenium(OR=0.719,95%CI:0.560,0.923),zinc(OR=0.683,95%CI:0.531,0.880),methionine(OR=0.730,95%CI:0.569,0.936),arginine(OR=0.753,95%CI:0.588,0.964),lysine(OR=0.706,95%CI:0.550,0.907),aspartic acid(OR=0.730,95%CI:0.569,0.936)and hypertension.Additionally,a negative association was found between niacin(OR=0.752,95%CI:0.597,0.946)and coronary heart disease.Conversely,a positive association was identified between iodine and hypertension(OR=1.305,95%CI:1.020,1.669)and coronary heart disease(OR=1.301,95%CI:1.037,1.634).Conclusion:Our study suggests that maintaining a balanced dietary intake of vitamin A,niacin,phosphorus,selenium,zinc,methionine,arginine,lysine,and aspartic acid can be beneficial in preventing hypertension.Adequate niacin intake is associated with a lower risk of coronary heart disease.However,excessive iodine intake may contribute to hypertension and coronary heart disease. 展开更多

The Lijiang 2.4-meter Telescope(LJT), the largest common-purpose optical telescope in China,has been available to the worldwide astronomical community since 2008. It is located at the Gaomeigu site,Lijiang Observatory... The Lijiang 2.4-meter Telescope(LJT), the largest common-purpose optical telescope in China,has been available to the worldwide astronomical community since 2008. It is located at the Gaomeigu site,Lijiang Observatory(LJO), in the southwest of China. The site has very good observational conditions.During its 10-year operation, several instruments have been equipped on the LJT. Astronomers can perform both photometric and spectral observations. The main scientific goals of LJT include recording photometric and spectral evolution of supernovae, reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei, investigating the physical properties of binary stars and near-earth objects(comets and asteroids), and identification of exoplanets and all kinds of transients. Until now, the masses of 41 high accretion rate black holes have been measured, and more than 168 supernovae have been identified by the LJT. More than 190 papers related to the LJT have been published. In this paper, the general observation conditions of the Gaomeigu site is introduced at first. Then, the structure of the LJT is described in detail, including the optical, mechanical, motion and control system. The specification of all the instruments and some detailed parameters of the YFOSC is also presented. Finally, some important scientific results and future expectations are summarized. 展开更多

[Objective] The aim of this study was to explore the dominant fiber quality traits of test sites in cotton regional trials, by analyzing the regional characteristics of cotton fiber quality in Jiangsu province, in order to provide the theory background for cotton fiber quality improvement. [Method] The dominant fiber quality traits of test locations were analyzed with eight main fiber quality indexes of hybrid cotton regional trials during 2009-2013 in Jiangsu province by use of the "ideal test site" view of GGE biplot. [Result] The test locations with the best integrative fiber quality were proved to be Yanliang, and followed by Dongxin and Guanyun; The better test locations in terms of the major fiber quality indexes, including fiber strength, fiber Length and micronaire value, were Guanyun, Xinyang and Yanliang; To sum up, the best test location with balanced fiber quality was Yanliang. The test locations with specialties in fiber quality index were listed as bellow: Dafeng, Xinghua and Dongtai performance better in fiber length; Qidong, Liuhe and Yanhai locations were of better fiber length uniformity; Sheyang and Dongxin were better in micronaire value;while Sheyang along was better in fiber elongation and reflectance. Moreover, the correlation between fiber yellowness and other traits was significant(P<0.01). [Conclusion] The regional characteristic of cotton fiber quality index in Jiangsu province was obvious and fiber yellowness was worthy an indicator trait to assist the comprehensive improvement of cotton fiber quality. 展开更多

Bacteremia induced by periodontal infection is an important factor for periodontitis to threaten general health. P. gingivalis DNA/virulence factors have been found in the brain tissues from patients with Alzheimer’s disease(AD). The blood-brain barrier(BBB) is essential for keeping toxic substances from entering brain tissues. However, the effect of P. gingivalis bacteremia on BBB permeability and its underlying mechanism remains unclear. In the present study, rats were injected by tail vein with P. gingivalis three times a week for eight weeks to induce bacteremia. An in vitro BBB model infected with P. gingivalis was also established. We found that the infiltration of Evans blue dye and Albumin protein deposition in the rat brain tissues were increased in the rat brain tissues with P. gingivalis bacteremia and P. gingivalis could pass through the in vitro BBB model. Caveolae were detected after P. gingivalis infection in BMECs both in vivo and in vitro. Caveolin-1(Cav-1) expression was enhanced after P. gingivalis infection.Downregulation of Cav-1 rescued P. gingivalis-enhanced BMECs permeability. We further found P. gingivalis-gingipain could be colocalized with Cav-1 and the strong hydrogen bonding between Cav-1 and arg-specific-gingipain(RgpA) were detected.Moreover, P. gingivalis significantly inhibited the major facilitator superfamily domain containing 2a(Mfsd2a) expression. Mfsd2a overexpression reversed P. gingivalis-increased BMECs permeability and Cav-1 expression. These results revealed that Mfsd2a/Cav-1 mediated transcytosis is a key pathway governing BBB BMECs permeability induced by P. gingivalis, which may contribute to P. gingivalis/virulence factors entrance and the subsequent neurological impairments. 展开更多

Hydroformed parts are widely used in industrial automotive parts because of their higher stiffness and fatigue strength and reduced weight relative to their corresponding cast and welded parts.This paper reports a hydraulicforming experimental platform for rectangular tube fittings that was constructed to conduct an experiment on the hydraulic forming of rectangular tube fittings.A finite element model was established on the basis of the fluid–solid coupling method and simulation analysis.The correctness of the simulation analysis and the feasibility of the fluid–solid coupling method for hydraulic forming simulation analysis were verified by comparing the experimental results with the simulation results.On the basis of the simulation analysis of the hydraulic process of the torsion beam using the fluid–solid coupling method,a sliding mold suitable for the hydroforming of torsion beams was designed for its structural characteristics.The effects of fluid characteristics,shaping pressure,axial feed rate,and friction coefficient on the wall thicknesses of torsions beams during formation were investigated.Fluid movement speed was related to tube deformation.Shaping pressure had a significant effect on rounded corners and straight edges.The axial feed speed was increased,and the uneven distribution of wall thicknesses was effectively improved.Although the friction coefficient had a nonsignificant effect on the wall thickness of the ladder-shaped region,it had a significant influence on a large deformation of wall thickness in the V-shaped area.In this paper,a method of fluid-solid coupling simulation analysis and sliding die is proposed to study the high pressure forming law in torsion beam. 展开更多

Unlike most animals,plants fail to move bodily at will.However,movements also occur in every single part of plants out of energy and nutrients needs,spanning from milliseconds to hours on a time scale.And with the growing understanding of plant movement in the academic community,bionic soft robots based on plant movement principles are increasingly studied and are considered by scientists as a source of inspiration for innovative engineering solutions.In this paper,through the study of the biological morphology,microstructure,and motion mechanism of the flytrap,we developed chambered design rules,and designed and fabricated a gas-driven bionic flytrap blade,intending to investigate its feasibility of performing complex bending deformation.The experimental result shows that the bionic flytrap blade can achieve multi-dimensional bending deformation,and complete the bending and closing action within 2 s.The performance of the bionic flytrap blade fabricated is in high agreement with the real flytrap blade in terms of bending and deformation,achieving an excellent bionic design effect.In this study,the chambered design rules of the bionic flytrap blade were proposed and developed,and the possibility of its deformation was investigated.The effects of different chamber types and different flow channel design precepts on the bending deformation of the bionic flytrap blade were revealed,together with the relationship between the response time and flow rate of the bionic flytrap blade.At last,this study provides new ideas for the study of plant blade motion mechanism in a hope to expand the application fields of bionic robots,especially hope to offer solutions for plant-type robotics. 展开更多

This study uses the digital image correlation technique to measure the crack tip displacement field at various crack lengths in U71MnG rail steel,and the interpolated continuous displacement field was obtained by fitting with a back propagation(BP)neural network.The slip and stacking of dislocations affect crack initiation and growth,leading to changes in the crack tip field and the fatigue characteristics of crack growth.The Christopher-James-Patterson(CJP)model describes the elastic stress field around a growing fatigue crack that experiences plasticity-induced shielding.In the present work,this model is modified by including the effect of the dislocation field on the plastic zone of the crack tip and hence on the elastic field by introducing a plastic flow factorρ,which represents the amount of blunting of the crack tip.The Levenberg-Marquardt(L-M)nonlinear least squares method was used to solve for the stress intensity factors.To verify the accuracy of this modified CJP model,the theoretical and experimental plastic zone errors before and after modification were compared,and the variation trends of the stress intensity factors and the plastic flow factorρwere analysed.The results show that the CJP model,with the introduction ofρ,exhibits a good blunting trend.In the low plasticity state,the modified model can accurately describe the experimental plastic zone,and the modified stress intensity factors are more accurate,which proves the effectiveness of dislocation correction.This plastic flow correction provides a more accurate crack tip field model and improves the CJP crack growth relationship. 展开更多

Lipidomics approach by UPLC-Q-Exactive-MS was used for the identification,quantification,comparison,and characterization of sphingolipids in virus infected marine Emiliania huxleyi BOF92 cells.The results show that 16 significantly changed sphingolipids(including Cer,CerG1,and SPHm)were identified during viral infection.Our data confirmed previously recognized facts that viral infection led to a shift toward virus-specific sphingolipids,which is consistent with the down-regulation of genes involved in the host de novo sphingolipid biosynthesis.Moreover,we revealed the upregulation of virusencoded homologous genes participating in de novo sphingolipids biosynthesis and virus-specific hydroxylated long chain bases(LCBs)as phytoCer,suggesting the competitive inhibition of host sphingolipid synthesis to produce the required building blocks for viral production,replication,and assembly.Additionally,Cer 40꞉1;2,Cer 40꞉2;2 isomer,and CerG139꞉0;2,Cer 39꞉0;2 as novel metabolite markers might indicate the general dysfunctions in E.huxleyi in response to viral infection.Our results show that viral infection led to a profound remodeling of host sphingolipidome,by which viruses depend on the hijacking of host sphingolipid metabolism to support the viral life cycle. 展开更多

This study proposes a rational strategy for the design,fabrication and system integration of the humanoid intelligent display platform(HIDP)to meet the requirements of highly humanized mechanical properties and intelligence for human-machine interfaces.The platform’s sandwich structure comprises a middle lightemitting layer and surface electrodes,which consists of silicon elastomer embedded with phosphor and silk fibroin ionoelastomer,respectively.Both materials are highly stretchable and resilient,endowing the HIDP with skin-like mechanical properties and applicability in various extreme environments and complex mechanical stimulations.Furthermore,by establishing the numerical correlation between the amplitude change of animal sounds and the brightness variation,the HIDP realizes audiovisual interaction and successful identification of animal species with the aid of Internet of Things(IoT)and machine learning techniques.The accuracy of species identification reaches about 100%for 200 rounds of random testing.Additionally,the HIDP can recognize animal species and their corresponding frequencies by analyzing sound characteristics,displaying real-time results with an accuracy of approximately 99%and 93%,respectively.In sum,this study offers a rational route to designing intelligent display devices for audiovisual interaction,which can expedite the application of smart display devices in human-machine interaction,soft robotics,wearable sound-vision system and medical devices for hearing-impaired patients. 展开更多

Our method compiles the interface conditions of the coupled problems into the networks properly and can be served as an efficient alternative to the complex coupled problems. To impose energy conservation constraints, the CDNNs utilize simple fully connected layers and a custom loss function to perform the model training process as well as the physical property of the exact solution. The approach can be beneficial for the following reasons: Firstly, we sample randomly and only input spatial coordinates without being restricted by the nature of samples.Secondly, our method is meshfree, which makes it more efficient than the traditional methods. Finally, the method is parallel and can solve multiple variables independently at the same time. We present the theoretical results to guarantee the convergence of the loss function and the convergence of the neural networks to the exact solution. Some numerical experiments are performed and discussed to demonstrate performance of the proposed method. 展开更多

An analytical method for determining the stresses and deformations of landfills contained by retaining walls is proposed in this paper.In the proposedmethod,the sliding resisting normal and tangential stresses of the retaining wall and the stress field of the sliding body are obtained considering the differential stress equilibrium equations,boundary conditions,and macroscopic forces and moments applied to the system,assuming continuous stresses at the interface between the sliding body and the retaining wall.The solutions to determine stresses and deformations of landfills contained by retaining walls are obtained using the Duncan-Chang and Hooke constitutive models.A case study of a landfill in the Hubei Province in China is used to validate the proposed method.The theoretical stress results for a slope with a retaining wall are compared with FEMresults,and the proposed theoreticalmethod is found appropriate for calculating the stress field of a slope with a retaining wall. 展开更多

目的比较神经内镜与显微镜手术切除垂体瘤的效果及安全性。方法选取2015年7月至2023年5月河南中医药大学第一附属医院收治的68例垂体瘤为研究对象,其中32例接受经鼻碟神经内镜下垂体瘤切除术,36例接受经鼻碟显微镜下垂体瘤切除术。分析... 目的比较神经内镜与显微镜手术切除垂体瘤的效果及安全性。方法选取2015年7月至2023年5月河南中医药大学第一附属医院收治的68例垂体瘤为研究对象,其中32例接受经鼻碟神经内镜下垂体瘤切除术,36例接受经鼻碟显微镜下垂体瘤切除术。分析两组肿瘤全切率、视力视野改善率、激素水平术后缓解率、围手术期指标及术后并发症。结果神经内镜组肿瘤全切28例,高于显微镜组(23例)(P<0.05)。对于Knosp 0~2级垂体瘤,神经内镜组肿瘤全切率高于显微镜组,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);对于Knosp 3~4级肿瘤,神经内镜组肿瘤全切率高于显微镜组(P<0.05)。神经内镜组视力视野改善率高于显微镜组(P<0.05),神经内镜组激素术后缓解率高于显微镜组,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。神经内镜组患者住院时间短于显微镜组,术中出血量低于显微镜组(P<0.05),两组手术时间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。神经内镜组总并发症发生率低于显微镜组(P<0.05)。结论神经内镜经鼻碟手术治疗垂体瘤安全有效,可优化围手术期指标,提高肿瘤全切除率,减少并发症。 展开更多

Trimethyltin chloride(TMT)is a potent neurotoxin to cause neurodegeneration,especially in hippocampus.This study aimed to identify dietary components that can effectively attenuate TMT-induced neurodegeneration in humans.The predominant anthocyanin in human diets,cyanidin-3-O-glucoside(C3G,5 or 50 mg/kg),was given to mice for 16 days,and TMT(2.7 mg/kg)was injected intraperitoneally once on the eighth day.C3G(50 mg/kg)significantly alleviated TMT-induced seizures and subsequent cognitive impairment by ameliorating hippocampal neurodegeneration and synaptic dysfunction.Furthermore,C3G treatment restored glutamate homeostasis in brain and reversed glutamine synthetase(GS)inhibition in reactive astrogliosis and neuroinflammation,which are critical for C3G's neuroprotective effects.Notably,C3G decreased the lipopolysaccharide,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,and interleukin-1βlevels in the mice,which potentially by modulating the relative abundance of Atopobiaceae and Lachnospiraceae in the gut.C3G may be a promising and practical dietary component for reducing TMT-induced neurodegeneration. 展开更多

The high-energy photon source(HEPS)is the first fourth-generation synchrotron light source facility in China.The HEPS injector consists of a linear accelerator(Linac)and a full energy booster.The booster captures the electron beam from the Linac and increases its energy to the value required for the storage ring.The full-energy beam could be injected to the storage ring directly or after“high-energy accumulation.”On November 17,2023,the key booster parameters successfully reached their corresponding target values.These milestone results were achieved based on numerous contributions,including nearly a decade of physical design,years of equipment development and installation,and months of beam commissioning.As measured at the extraction energy of 6 GeV,the averaged beam current and emittance reached 8.57 mA with 5 bunches and 30.37 nm rad with a single-bunch charge of 5.58 nC,compared with the corresponding target values of 6.6 mA and 35 nm rad,respectively.This paper presents the physical design,equipment development,installation,and commissioning process of the HEPS booster. 展开更多
