The movement of vehicles and the three-dimensional (3D) nature of the road network cause the topologicalstructure of IoV to have the high space and time complexity.Network modeling and structure recognition for 3Droads can benefit the description of topological changes for IoV. This paper proposes a 3Dgeneral roadmodel basedon discrete points of roads obtained from GIS. First, the constraints imposed by 3D roads on moving vehicles areanalyzed. Then the effects of road curvature radius (Ra), longitudinal slope (Slo), and length (Len) on speed andacceleration are studied. Finally, a general 3D road network model based on road section features is established. This paper also presents intersection and road section recognition methods based on the structural features ofthe 3D road network model and the road features. Real GIS data from a specific region of Beijing is adopted tocreate the simulation scenario, and the simulation results validate the general 3D road network model and therecognitionmethod. Therefore, thiswork makes contributions to the field of intelligent transportation by providinga comprehensive approach tomodeling the 3Droad network and its topological changes in achieving efficient trafficflowand improved road safety.展开更多

MPC5 and AB8/13 podocyte cells were treated with 60 mmol/L glucose to establish diabetic nephropathy podocyte model in vitro. Both podocytes were divided into control group, high glucose group, low dose LGZGD group, medium dose LGZGD group, and high dose LGZGD group, respectively. For the three LGZGD groups, before LGZGD intervention, podocytes were treated with 60 mmol/L glucose for 3 days. After treated with LGZGD containing serum, cells were collected to analyze cell migration using Transwell assay, proliferation using CCK8, apoptosis and cell cycle using flow cytometry, autophagosome formation using transmission electron microscopy, and expression levels of Beclin-1, Atg5, LC3II/I, and P62 proteins using Western blot. Results Compared with the control group, the proliferation and migration of MPC5 and AB8/13 cells in the high glucose group slightly decreased, whereas these parameters restored after intervention with low and medium concentrations of LGZGD, with the medium dose LGZGD having the better effect(P < 0.05). Flow cytometry showed that the medium dose LGZGD group had a significantly lower apoptosis rate(P < 0.05) and higher survival rate(P > 0.05) compared to the high dose LGZGD group. High glucose arrested podocytes in G1 phase, whereas LGZGD shifted podocytes from being predominant in G1 phase to G2 phase. High dose LGZGD significanly reduced high glucose-increased autophagosome formation in both podocytes(P < 0.05). Western blot analysis showed that Beclin-1, Atg5, LC3II/I, and P62 expressions were increased in MPC5 cells treated with high glucose and reversed after adminstration of low and medium doses of LGZGD(P < 0.05).Conclusion LGZGD reduced apoptosis and enhanced autophagy in high glucose treated podocytes via regulating Beclin-1/LC3II/I/Atg5 expression.展开更多

METHODS: A retrospective analysis was undertaken in 341 patients admitted to the emergency room and Intensive Care Unit of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University with non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding. The Rockall scores were calculated, and the association between clinical Rockall scores and patient outcomes (rebleeding, surgery and mortality) was assessed. Based on the Rockall scores, patients were divided into three risk categories: low risk ≤ 3, moderate risk 3-4, high risk ≥ 4, and the percentages of rebleeding/death/surgery in each risk category were compared. The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was calculated to assess the validity of the Rockall system in predicting rebleeding, surgery and mortality of patients with AUGIB. RESULTS: A positive linear correlation between clinical Rockall scores and patient outcomes in terms of rebleeding, surgery and mortality was observed (r =0.962, 0.955 and 0.946, respectively, P = 0.001). High clinical Rockall scores > 3 were associated with adverse outcomes (rebleeding, surgery and death). There was a significant correlation between high Rockall scores and the occurrence of rebleeding, surgery and mortality in the entire patient population (χ 2 = 49.29, 23.10 and 27.64, respectively, P = 0.001). For rebleeding, the area under the ROC curve was 0.788 (95%CI: 0.726-0.849, P = 0.001); For surgery, the area under the ROC curve was 0.752 (95%CI: 0.679-0.825, P = 0.001) and for mortality, the area under the ROC curve was 0.787 (95%CI: 0.716-0.859, P = 0.001). CONCLUSION: The Rockall score is clinically useful, rapid and accurate in predicting rebleeding, surgery and mortality outcomes in elderly patients with AUGIB.展开更多

Restricting energy intake, or caloric restriction(CR), can reduce body weight and improve metabolic parameters in overweight or obese patients. We previously found that Lingguizhugan decoction(LZD) in combination with CR can effectively lower plasma lipid levels in patients with metabolic syndrome. However, the mechanism underlying CR and LZD treatment is still unclear.AIM To investigate whether CR and LZD improve metabolic parameters by modulating gut microbiota.METHODS We extracted the water-soluble components out of raw materials and dried as LZD extracts. Eight-week old male C57 BL/6 mice were treated with a 3-d treatment regime that included 24 h-fasting followed by gavage of LZD extracts for 2 consecutive days, followed by a normal diet(ND) ad libitum for 16 wk. To test the effects of gut microbiota on diet-induced obesity, 8-wk old male C57 BL/6 mice received fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) from CR and LZD-treated mice every 3 d and were fed with high-fat diet(HFD) ad libitum for 16 wk.Control mice received either saline gavage or FMT from ND-fed mice receiving saline gavage as mentioned above. Body weight was monitored bi-weekly. Food consumption of each cage hosting five mice was recorded weekly. To monitor blood glucose, total cholesterol, and total triglycerides, blood samples were collected via submandibular bleeding after 6 h fasting. Oxygen consumption rate was monitored with metabolic cages. Feces were collected, and fecal DNA was extracted. Profiles of gut microbiota were mapped by metagenomic sequencing.RESULTS We found that CR and LZD treatment significantly reduced the body weight of mice fed with ND(28.71 ± 0.29 vs 28.05 ± 0.15, P < 0.05), but did not affect plasma total cholesterol or total triglyceride levels. We then transplanted the fecal microbiota collected from CR and LZD-treated mice under ND feeding to HFDfed mice. Intriguingly, transplanting the mice with fecal microbiota from CR and LZD-treated mice potently reduced body weight(44.95 ± 1.02 vs 40.53 ± 0.97, P <0.001). FMT also reduced HFD-induced hepatosteatosis, in addition to improved glycemic control. Mechanistic studies found that FMT increased OCR of the mice and suppressed the expression and protein abundance of lipogenic genes in the liver. Metagenomic analysis revealed that HFD drastically altered the profile of gut microbiota, and FMT modified the profile of the gut microbiota.CONCLUSION Our study suggests that CR and LZD improve metabolic parameters by modulating gut microbiota.展开更多

Methods: Rats were randomly assigned into high-fat-diet (HF) group andnormal-diet (ND) group. Hyperlipidemic rats fed with high-fat-diet for 5 weeks were randomly divided into ADF group,alternate-day-fasting with LD (ALG) group and model control (MC) group. The rats in ALG and ADF group weredeprived of food for 24 h every other day for 4 weeks. Rats in ALG group were administrated with LD at fasting day. After 4 weeks of ADF therapy, plasma TC, TG, LDL-c and HDL-c were measured in each group. Expression of miR-143and PPAR-γ protein from adipose was also analyzed. Results: When compared with MC group, after 4 weeks of ADF orcombined ADF and LD therapy, the body weight was evidently reduced in ADF and ALG groups (P = 0.028, P = 0.036by wk 8). The levels of plasma TC and TG decreased in ADF group and ALG group, which were significantly lower thanthose in MC group (P 〈 0.001, P = 0.045; P 〈 0.001, P = 0.005). However, the body weight and level of TC and TG inALG group showed non-statistical difference in comparison with ADF group (ALG vs. ADF, P 〉 0.05). Expression ofmiR-143 and PPAR-γ were higher in MC group than that in NC group (P 〈 0.001). Compared with MC group, expression of miR-143 and PPAR-γ were significantly decreased in ADF (P = 0.038, P = 0.015) and ALG (P = 0.007, P〈 0.001) groups. When compared with ADF group, expression of miR-143 and PPAR-γ were significantly decreased inALG (P = 0.041, P = 0.046) group. Conclusion: ADF therapy alone not only reduced blood lipids, but also inhibitedmiR-143 and PPAR-γ protein expression in visceral adipose tissue. However, LD couldn’t reduce the levels of bloodlipid profiles more effectively than using ADF alone. Perhaps the effects of LD combined with ADF in the prevention ofhyperlipidemia need further exploration.展开更多

Compared to the AA6061 alloy, the large amount of α-Al(MnFeCr)Si dispersoids in the Mn-bearing alloy yielded a significant increase in the flow stress under all deformation conditions. The effects of the deformation parameters on the evolution of the microstructure were studied using electronic backscatter diffraction measurements. The predominant softening mechanism of both alloys was dynamic recovery. The presence of α dispersoids in Mn-bearing alloys effectively refined the size of substructures with misorientation angles in the range of 2°-5°, which retarded the dynamic recovery. To predict the subgrain size under various deformation conditions, the threshold stresses that were caused by α dispersoids were calculated by the modified Orowan equation and incorporated into a conventional constitutive equation. The subgrain size that was predicted by the modified constitutive equation showed satisfactory agreement with the experimental measurements.展开更多

In the assembly of these systems and their current-carrying operation, unavoidable mis- alignment and shift from the original position can be induced by disturbances such as the imbalance of magnetic force due to safety problems. For two current-carrying coils with non-coplanar axes, the analytic expression of the magnetic force between the two coils is presented according to the rule of Ampere circulation and the Biot-Savart law. Based on the expression, the dependence of the magnetic force on the size and the relative position of each other is further investigated, and the variation of the magnetic force is obtained with the above parameters.展开更多

Perhaps the effects of LD combined with ADF in the prevention ofhyperlipidemia need further exploration.

文摘The microstructural evolution of AA6061 and Mn-bearing Al-Mg-Si-Cu alloys was studied by compression tests that were carried out between 300 and 500 °C with a wide range of strain rates. The subgrain size that was predicted by the modified constitutive equation showed satisfactory agreement with the experimental measurements.

文摘Mounting evidence indicates that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)have critical roles in colorectal cancer(CRC)progression, providing many potential diagnostic biomarkers, prognostic biomarkers, and treatment targets. Here,we sought to investigate the role and underlying regulatory mechanism of lncRNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 16(SNHG16)in CRC.The expressions of SNHG16 in CRC were identified by RNA-sequencing and quantitative reverse transcription PCR.The functions of SNHG16 were explored by a series of in vitro and in vivo assays(colony formation assay, flow cytometry assay, and xenograft model).Bioinformatics analysis,RNA fluorescence in situ hybridization and luciferase reporter assay were used to investigate the regulatory mechanism of effects of SNHG16.SNHG16 was found to be significantly elevated in human CRC tissues and cell lines.Functional studies suggested that SNHG16 promoted CRC cell growth both in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistically,we identified that SNHG16 is expressed predominantly in the cytoplasm.SNHG16 could interact with miR-214-3p and up-regulated its target ABCB1.This study indicated that SNHG16 plays an oncogenic role in CRC,suggesting it could be a novel biomarker and therapeutic target in CRC.

文摘Current-carrying coils are basic elements in electromagnetic equipments, for example, in high field magnets from high temperature superconducting wires or tapes. Based on the expression, the dependence of the magnetic force on the size and the relative position of each other is further investigated, and the variation of the magnetic force is obtained with the above parameters.

文摘In this paper,a high-order scheme based on the lattice Boltzmann flux solver(LBFS)is proposed to simulate viscous compressible flows. The flux reconstruction(FR)approach is adopted to implement the spatial discretization. The LBFS is employed to compute the inviscid flux by using the local reconstruction of the lattice Boltzmann equation solutions from macroscopic flow variables.Meanwhile,a switch function is used in LBFS to adjust the magnitude of the numerical viscosity. Thus,it is more beneficial to capture both strong shock waves and thin boundary layers. Moreover, the viscous flux is computed according to the local discontinuous Galerkin method. Some typical compressible viscous problems, including manufactured solution case,lid-driven cavity flow, supersonic flow around a cylinder and subsonic flow over a NACA0012 airfoil, are simulated to demonstrate the accuracy and robustness of the proposed FR-LBFS.

文摘Objective: To study the interaction between the polymorphisms of FOXO3A and the environmental factors in the longevity district of Bama county. Methods: Using Taqmaq probe, genotyping of FOXO3A gene was performed for 200 longevous elderly(aged 90-110)and 288 healthy controls(aged 48-89).The interaction between the polymorphisms of gene and environmental factors were analyzed by using conditional logistic regression. Results: Minor allele frequencies(MAF)of five known SNPs in FOXO3A gene were higher in cases than in controls(P<0.05).There was a positive interction between minority alleles of rs2764264 in FOXO3A gene and the environment factors in the longevity district(OR=11.08,γ=1.075).Conclusion: Five SNPs of FOXO3A gene would be closely correlated with human longevity in Bama. The interaction between the polymorphisms of FOXO3A genes rs2764264 and the environment factors in the longevity district had synergy to longevity. The longevity phenomenon in Bama probably was the result of the interaction between gene and environmental factors.
文摘According to the analytical characteristics of cubic B spline function, such as compactness and discontinuous smoothness, two methods,Global integral method and Assembling method are proposed to calculate the non-linear stiffness matrix in the spline finite element method. The Global integral method transforms the integral of the product of spline functions into the sum of boundary data of the product by integral by parts. The Assembling method uses the compactness characteristics of the spline function, reduces the n+3 order stiffness matrix in unit interval to the 4 order matrix, and then obtains the global matrix by assembling the small ones. The two proposed methods are clear in theory and easy to be realized by computer program, which can effectively improve the efficiency of the algorithm for nonlinear spline element method.

文摘In this study, underwater explosion tests with 2.5 g trinitrotoluene explosive under different fixed plates with prefabricated holes were conducted. The experimental results showed that the air inflow from the prefabricated hole caused the bubble to collapse earlier with an increase in the hole diameter. In addition, the deformation mode of the thin plate transitioned from“convex”to“concave”(up to down).Next, the coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian method was used to perform the corresponding numerical simulation. The accuracy of the numerical simulation method was verified through a comparison with the experimental data.In addition,a series of numerical simulations were conducted with different prefabricated-hole diameters, blast distances, and prefabricated-hole shapes. The results showed that the bubble-pulsating water jet substantially influenced the deformation of the thin plate when the diameter of the prefabricated hole was within the theoretical maximum bubble radius. When the blast distance was within the theoretical maximum bubble radius, the thin plate was subjected to only a single bubble pulsation owing to the air inflow from the prefabricated hole.
