[Objectives]The paper was to elucidate the specific hyperparasitic fungal species that are associated with coffee leaf rust.[Methods]Tissue isolation,sample humidification,and three-point inoculation techniques were employed to isolate,culture,and purify the hyperparasitic fungi responsible for coffee leaf rust.The purified strains were identified using traditional morphological techniques and molecular biology methods.[Results]Four strains were isolated,specifically BS21(Cladosporium cladosporioides),BS34(C.tenuissimum),BS62(C.cladosporioides),and BS75(C.colombiae).[Conclusions]The findings of this research will contribute novel insights into the biological control of coffee leaf rust. 展开更多

This paper presents an overview of dielectric patch(DP)antennas developed in recent years.The employed DP resonator composed of a DP and a bottom substrate is analyzed comprehensively here,enabling the easy realization of a quasi-planar DP antenna.It combines the dual advantages of the conventional microstrip patch(MP)antenna and dielectric resonator(DR)antenna in terms of profile,gain,bandwidth,radiation efficiency,and design freedom.Furthermore,the DP antenna inherits the multi-mode characteristic of the DR antenna,thus it has a large number of high-order modes,including TMmn mode and TEmn mode.The high-order modes are widely applied,for example,by combining with the dominant TM10 mode to expand the bandwidth,or selecting multiple higher-order modes to implement a high-gain antenna.Additionally,the non-radiation high-order modes are also utilized to produce natural radiation null in filtering antenna design.In this paper,the design theories and techniques of DP antenna are introduced and investigated,including calculation and control methods of the resonant mode frequencies,analysis of the radiation mechanism,and applications of the multi-mode characteristic.This overview could provide guidance for the subsequent antenna design,thus effectively avoid time-consuming optimization. 展开更多

Combining 3D printing with precursor-derived ceramic for fabricating electromagnetic(EM) wave-absorbing metamaterials has attracted great attention. This study presents a novel ultraviolet-curable polysiloxane precursor for digital light processing(DLP) 3D printing to fabricate ceramic parts with complex geometry, no cracks and linear shrinkage. Guiding with the principles of impedance matching, attenuation, and effective-medium theory, we design a crosshelix-array metamaterial model based on the complex permittivity constant of precursor-derived ceramics. The corresponding ceramic metamaterials can be successfully prepared by DLP printing and subsequent pyrolysis process, achieving a low reflection coefficient and a wide effective absorption bandwidth in the X-band even under high temperature. This is a general method that can be extended to other bands, which can be realized by merely adjusting the unit structure of meta-materials. This strategy provides a novel and effective avenue to achieve “target-design-fabricating” ceramic metamaterials, and it exposes the downstream applications of highly efficient and broad EM wave-absorbing materials and structures with great potential applications. 展开更多

In this paper, a low-profile wideband dielectric resonator antenna(DRA) with a very compact planar size is investigated. The antenna consists of a high permittivity dielectric sheet on the top, a low permittivity substrate in the middle, and a probe feeding structure at the bottom. By digging an annular slot in the designated area of the square dielectric sheet, the resonant frequency of fundamental TE111 mode can be effectively increased to be close to the high-order TE131 mode. The two modes can be finally merged together, yielding a wide impedance bandwidth of16.6%. Most importantly, the combination of the two modes is done on the premise of a fixed antenna planar size, which can be very compact and suitable for beam-scanning applications. A probe feeding structure is used to excite the DRA, making the antenna simple and practical to be integrated with other RF circuits. For verification, antenna prototypes with singlefeed linear polarization and differential-feed dual polarization were fabricated and measured. Reasonable agreement between the measured and simulated results is observed. 展开更多

A 23-year-old woman presented with anaplastic oligoastrocytoma(WHO III) in a left temporal tumor. The patient received chemoradiotherapy after surgery in our center. Three years after treatment, the patient experienced multiple ECMs in the right lung, left iliac bone, and multiple swollen subcutaneous nodules including the right clavicle, back of the neck, left forearm, right upper arm, and right clavicle. The patient died of cerebral herniation at the age of 27 due to recurrent intracranial glioma. Treatment of ECM of glioma remains very challenging, and further investigations are needed. 展开更多

Objective:To find the target genes in combination of astragalus root(Astragalus membranaceus)and spindle tree wings(Euonymus alatus(THUNB.)SIEB.)(Qijian Heji)with the function of regulating blood glucose levels in kk mice by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-PCR).To achieve the primary exploration on the material basis for Qijian Heji to improve the blood glucose levels of type 2 diabetic kk mice.Methods:We applied RT-PCR to detecting the expression of gene targets in kidney tissues of type 2 diabetes model kk mice.The detected gene targets were predicted by the network pharmacology method in the early stage of the project.Through the observation of the hypoglycemic effect of different ratios of Qijian Heji,the optimal proportion was determined and then used to conduct research of material basis.Results:Continuous administration of Qijian Heji(astragalus root:spindle tree wings Z 3:1)for six weeks resulted in significantly lowering blood glucose levels in mice in the fourth week,dropping from 33.3 to 21.9 mmol/L;this lower level was maintained in the fifth to sixth weeks.Blood glucose values in the positive drug group decreased from 33.3 to 21.85 mmol/L in the fourth week and maintained steady decreasing in the fifth and sixth weeks.Conclusion:Qijian Heji,with proportion of 3:1,could significantly reduce the blood glucose values in kk mice,animal experiment results verified the accurate prediction of network pharmacology,and at the same time,it is verified there was a certain therapeutic effect about the combination of the two herbs on reducing the glucose value.Animal experiments and RT-PCR results showed that Qijian Heji conducted a hypoglycemic effect by modulating estrogen receptor(ESR1)and renin(REN)expression. 展开更多

It has been considered as a potential technological component for the next generation of communication. In this paper, we investigate a novel framework to distribute video files from some other proximity devices through users' media cloud assisted D2 D communication. The main contributions of this work lie in: 1) Providing an efficient algorithm Media Cloud Cluster Selecting Scheme(MCCSS) to achieve the reasonable cluster; 2) Distributing the optimum updating files to the cluster heads, in order to minimize the expected D2 D communication transmission hop for files; 3) Proposing a minimum the hop method, which can ensure the user obtain required file as soon as possible. Objective:Jue tone is a kind of sound,using 3-mi as the main tone,and is melodious,profound,makes people feel comfortable and pleasant.This study aimed to explore the probable mechanism of Jue tone to reduce blood pressure(BP)in hypertensive rats with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern by observing changes in BP as well as physiochemical indexes in plasma.Methods:Sixteen male spontaneous hypertensive rats(SHR)with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern were randomly divided into a control group and a Jue tone group.The rats in the Jue tone group were treated with Jue tone(55e65 dB,played by the five elements of music rhythm instrument,a kind of physiotherapy regimen music played by Shen Wu)once a day for 4 weeks.The BP levels in each group were measured twice a week,on Monday and Friday.The levels of angiotensin II(Ang-II),thromboxane B2(TXB2),endothelin-1(ET-1),calcitonin gene-related peptide(cGRP),norepinephrine(NE),cortisol(CORT),and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT).in plasma were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay after 4 weeks of intervention.Results:BP and the levels of TXB2 and ET-1 in the plasma of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group,while the level of cGRP was significantly higher.Conclusion:Jue tone can reduce the BP of hypertensive rats with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern.The mechanism may correlate with a reduction in TXB2 and ET-1 and an increase in cGRP with the reduction of reactive oxygen species(ROS). 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the biological basis of“depression with liver-qi stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome”.Methods:A digital gene expression profiling method was conducted to explore global changes in the mRNA transcriptome in a rat model of depression with liver-qi stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome.Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(q-PCR)was performed to verify the five genes most interest based on the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome(KEGG)analysis.Sini San,which disperses stagnated liver qi and strengthens the spleen,was administered to the model rats to observe whether it could reverse these genetic changes in the liver.Results:Forty-six differentially expressed genes were identified.Three of the five genes of most interestdHnf4a,Hnf4g and Cyp1a1dbased on KEGG analysis,were confirmed by realtime q-PCR.Sini San reduced the gene expression changes of Hnf4a,Hnf4g and Cyp1a1 in the rat model.Conclusions:Hnf4a,Hnf4g and Cyp1a1 are involved in“depression with liver-qi stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome”.These findings indicate that depressed rats with liver-qi stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome are at risk of liver diseases.Furthermore,our results will inform exploration of the etiology of depression and help in the development of effective therapeutic strategies. 展开更多

Sepsis-induced liver injury(SILI)is an important cause of septicemia deaths.BaWeiBaiDuSan(BWBDS)was extracted from a formula of Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer,Lilium brownie F.E.Brown ex Miellez var.viridulum Baker,Polygonatum sibiricum Delar.ex Redoute,Lonicera japonica Thunb.,Hippophae rhamnoides Linn.,Amygdalus Communis Vas,Platycodon grandiflorus(Jacq.)A.DC.,and Cortex Phelloderdri.Herein,we investigated whether the BWBDS treatment could reverse SILI by the mechanism of modulating gut microbiota.BWBDS protected mice against SILI,which was associated with promoting macrophage anti-inflammatory activity and enhancing intestinal integrity.BWBDS selectively promoted the growth of Lactobacillus johnsonii(L.johnsonii)in cecal ligation and puncture treated mice.Fecal microbiota transplantation treatment indicated that gut bacteria correlated with sepsis and was required for BWBDS anti-sepsis effects.Notably,L.johnsonii significantly reduced SILI by promoting macrophage anti-inflammatory activity,increasing interleukin-10+M2 macrophage production and enhancing intestinal integrity.Furthermore,heat inactivation L.johnsonii(HI-L.johnsonii)treatment promoted macrophage anti-inflammatory activity and alleviated SILI.Our findings revealed BWBDS and gut microbiota L.johnsonii as novel prebiotic and probiotic that may be used to treat SILI.The potential underlying mechanism was at least in part,via L.johnsonii-dependent immune regulation and interleukin-10+M2 macrophage production. 展开更多

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and their pyrolytic derivates,displaying diverse chemical compositions and microstructures,pro-vide the infinite potential for preparing high-performance microwave absorption materials(MAMs)and have attracted extensive at-tention.In this review,we systematically reviewed the recent progress of MOF-based MAMs,including three types of MOF-based MAMs(MOF-derived metal/carbon nanocomposites,MOF-based hybridization materials and conductive MOF).Besides that,the microwave absorption properties and their related physical and chemical appearance were also analyzed.On behalf of synergistic effects between microstructures,dielectric components and magnetic response,the MOF-based MAMs show excellent microwave absorption performance,which is superior to that of traditional single metal,metal alloy and pure carbon-based MAMs.Further-more,the novel conductive MOF with tunable electrical conductivity shows great potential in MAMs due to the fact that it can dra-matically simplify the synthesis process. 展开更多

A compact input-reflectionless balanced bandpass filter(BPF)with flexible bandwidth(BW)using a three-line coupled structure(TLCS)is presented in this paper.For the differential mode(DM),the TLCS is applied to achieve the bandpass response;meanwhile,the input coupled-feed line of the TLCS is reused in the input absorption network.This design shows a good fusion of the absorptive and BPF sections,effectively reducing the circuit size,and the BWs of the two sections that can be controlled separately result in a flexibly controllable DM response BW of the proposed input-reflectionless balanced BPF.Detailed analyses of the ratio of the two-part BWs have been given for the first time,which is vital for the passband flatness and reflectionless feature.In the codesign of this work,the input-reflectionless DM bandpass response can be optimized easily,while wideband common mode(CM)noise absorption is achieved by the input absorption network.To verify the design method,a prototype with a compact layout(0.52λ×0.36λ)is designed and measured in the 0-7.0 GHz range.The DM center frequency(f0)is 2.45 GHz with a measured 3 dB fractional bandwidth of 31.4%.The simulation and measurement results with good agreement are presented,showing good performance,e.g.,low insertion loss(0.43 dB),wide upper stopband for the DM bandpass response(over 20 dB rejection level up to 2.72f0),and wideband DM reflectionless and CM noise absorption(fractional absorption bandwidth of 285.7%). 展开更多
