The composition of this clade, the phylogenetic relationships among its constituent taxa, and the placement of species previously determined to be problematic have yet to be resolved. Herein, nr DNA ITS sequences were obtained for150 accessions of Apioideae, representing species whose distributions are in East Asia or genera having one or more species included within the East Asia clade. These data, along with published ITS sequences from other Apioideae(for 3678 accessions altogether), were subjected to maximum likelihood and Bayesian inference analyses. The results show that the East Asia clade contains representatives of 11currently recognized genera: Hansenia, Hymenolaena, Keraymonia, Sinolimprichtia, Acronema, Hymenidium, Physospermopsis, Pimpinella, Sinocarum, Tongoloa, and Trachydium. However, the latter seven genera have members falling outside of the East Asia clade, including the generic types of all except Tongoloa. Within the clade, the species comprising these seven genera are widely intermingled, greatly increasing confusion among relationships than previously realized. The problematic species Physospermopsis cuneata is confirmed as falling within the East Asia clade, whereas P. rubrinervis allies with the generic type in tribe Pleurospermeae. Physospermopsis kingdon-wardii is confirmed as a member of the genus Physospermopsis, whereas the generic attributions of P. cuneata and Tongoloa stewardii remain unclear. Two species of Sinocarum(S. filicinum and S. wolffianum) are transferred into the genus Meeboldia. This is the most comprehensive molecular phylogenetic investigation of the East Asia clade to date, and while the results increase systematic understanding of the clade, they also highlight the need for further studies of one of the most taxonomically intractable groups in Apioideae.展开更多

Gaudich.) and the tolerance response in ramie. [Methods] A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of Sb stress on root growth and Sb accumulation and transport of the root system of cultivated ramie Zhongzhu No.1, as well as on the physiological characteristics of ramie leaves. [Results] The plant height and root dry weight and volume of Zhongzhu No.1 showed an effect of "promoting at low concentrations and inhibiting at high concentrations" with the increase of Sb concentration, and decreased significantly at the concentration of 4 000 mg/kg, but no obvious toxic growth symptoms were observed. The content of Sb in roots(289.7-508.6 mg/kg) and the root-shoot transfer factor(0.09-0.57) of Zhongzhu No.1 increased with the increase of soil Sb concentration, but the change of Sb bioconcentration factor in roots was opposite, indicating that high concentrations of Sb in soil could promote the absorption of Sb in roots and the transport of Sb to the aboveground part, but the Sb enrichment capacity of roots was relatively reduced with the increase of soil Sb. Sb stress had a certain impact on the physiological characteristics of ramie leaves. With the increase of Sb treatment concentration, MDA, POD and SOD showed a change trend of "first increasing and then decreasing", while CAT gradually increased, indicating that Sb stress caused changes in the physiological characteristics of ramie leaves, thereby affecting plant growth and development. [Conclusions] This study provides a theoretical basis for ecological restoration of ramie in mining areas.展开更多

文摘Perovskite-type mixed protonic-electronic conducting membranes have attracted attention because of their ability to separate and purify hydrogen from a mixture of gases generated by industrial-scale steam reforming based on an ion diffusion mechanism.Exploring cost-effective membrane materials that can achieve both high H_(2) permeability and strong CO_(2)-tolerant chemical stability has been a major challenge for industrial applications.Herein,we constructed a triple phase(ceramic-metal-ceramic)membrane composed of a perovskite ceramic phase BaZr_(0.1)Ce_(0.7)Y_(0.1)Yb_(0.1)O_(3-δ)(BZCYYb),Ni metal phase and a fluorite ceramic phase CeO_(2).Under H_(2) atmosphere,Ni metal in-situ exsolved from the oxide grains, and decorated the grain surface and boundary, thus the electronic conductivity and hydrogen separation performance can be promoted. The BZCYYbNi-CeO_(2)hybrid membrane achieved an exceptional hydrogen separation performance of 0.53 mL min^(-1)cm^(-2) at 800℃ under a 10 vol% H_(2) atmosphere, surpassing all other perovskite membranes reported to date.Furthermore, the CeO_(2) phase incorporated into the BZCYYb-Ni effectively improved the CO_(2)-tolerant chemical stability. The BZCYYbNi-CeO_(2) membrane exhibited outstanding long-term stability for at least 80 h at 700℃ under 10 vol%CO_(2)-10 vol%H_(2).The success of hybrid membrane construction creates a new direction for simultaneously improving their hydrogen separation performance and CO_(2) resistance stability.

文摘Phloem loading and transport of sugar from leaves to sink tissues such as fruits are crucial for yield formation.Camellia oleifera is an evergreen horticultural crop with high value;however, its low production limits the development of the C.oleifera industry. In this study, using a combination of ultrastructural observation, fluorescence loss in photobleaching(FLIP)and inhibitor treatment,we revealed that C.oleifera leaves mainly adopt a symplastic loading route from mesophyll cells to the surrounding vascular bundle cells in minor veins.HPLC assays showed that sucrose is the main sugar transported and only a small amount of raffinose or stachyose was detected in petioles, supporting a passive symplastic loading route in C.oleifera leaves.Compared to leaves grown this year(LT),the carbohydrate synthesis capacity in leaves grown last year(LL)was decreased while LL retained more soluble sugar, suggesting a decrease in transport capacity with leaf ageing.TEM and tissue staining showed that a reduction in plasmodesmata density leads to a decline in the degree of cellular coupling and is responsible for the weakening transport capacity in older leaves.RNA-seq revealed several differentially expressed genes(DEGs)including CoPDCB1-1,CoSUT1 and CoSWEET12,which are likely involved in the regulation of phloem loading and sugar transport. An expression correlation network is constructed between PD-callose binding protein genes, sugar transporter genes and senescence-associated genes.Collectively, this study provides the evidence of the passive symplastic phloem loading pathway in C.oleifera leaves and constructs the correlation between sugar transport and leaf ageing.

文摘The solute carrier family 12(SLC12)of cation-chloride cotransporters(CCCs)comprises potassium chloride cotransporters(KCCs,e.g.KCC1,KCC2,KCC3,and KCC4)-mediated Cl^(-)extrusion,and sodium potassium chloride cotransporters(N[K]CCs,NKCC1,NKCC2,and NCC)-mediated Cl^(-)loading.The CCCs play vital roles in cell volume regulation and ion homeostasis.Gain-of-function or loss-of-function of these ion transporters can cause diseases in many tissues. In recent years, there have been considerable advances in our understanding of CCCs'control mechanisms in cell volume regulations, with many techniques developed in studying the functions and activities of CCCs.Classic approaches to directly measure CCC activity involve assays that measure the transport of potassium substitutes through the CCCs.These techniques include the ammonium pulse technique, radioactive or nonradioactive rubidium ion uptakeassay, and thallium ion-uptake assay.CCCs'activity can also be indirectly observed by measuring gaminobutyric acid(GABA)activity with patch-clamp electrophysiology and intracellular chloride concentration with sensitive microelectrodes,radiotracer^(36)Cl^(-),and fluorescent dyes.Other techniques include directly looking at kinase regulatory sites phosphorylation, flame photometry,22Nat uptake assay, structural biology, molecular modeling, and high-throughput drug screening. This review summarizes the role of CCCs in genetic disorders and cell volume regulation, current methods applied in studying CCCs biology, and compounds developed that directly or indirectly target the CCCs for disease treatments.

文摘The demand for ocean exploration down to the deep seafloor, for instance, ocean resource exploration and ocean observations, has promoted innovations in underwater technology.Underwater unmanned vehicles are urgently required to be deployed and operate on the seafloor.Because most underwater vehicles are unable to operate on the seafloor and even have difficulty reaching there,we developed a seafloor-resident autonomous underwater helicopter(AUH).This paper introduces the new idea and design of AUHs and discusses the pros and cons of AUHs in comparison with other underwater vehicles.Afterwards,we verify the importance of developing new facilities to enable mankind to easily operate close to the seafloor.

文摘Metamaterial absorbers with carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP)substrates, which are called metaCFRPs,have recently gained recognition for their excellent mechanical and electromagnetic performance.Different from traditional metamaterial absorbers with an isotropic substrate,meta-CFRPs with a highly anisotropic CFRP substrate are facing challenges in acquiring polarization-insensitive absorption. Here,a lay-up-oriented structure design method is proposed to solve this problem.Considering the lay-up configuration of CFRP laminates, metallic patterns are designed under corresponding polarization angles and then united together to form an integral structure.A meta-CFRP with a typical CFRP lay-up configuration([0°/45°/90°/-45°]3s)is designed and tested. The experimental results exhibit over 99%microwave absorptivity at 2.44 GHz for all polarization angles. The maximum shift among the resonance peaks of the curves at all polarization angles is only 0.021 GHz.Further studies show that when there are cross-ply laminates in the first few layers of the CFRP substrate, the lay-up-oriented design method can be effectively simplified by ignoring the subsequent lay-up orientations after the first cross-ply layers. Our method can not only provide an effective way for acquiring polarization-insensitive microwave response on meta-CFRPs but also be expected to be promoted to metamaterial absorbers with other anisotropic materials.

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the toxicity of heavy metal antimony(Sb) to ramie(Boehmeria nivea(L.) Gaudich.) and the tolerance response in ramie. [Conclusions] This study provides a theoretical basis for ecological restoration of ramie in mining areas.
